"And where would that be? We can't go back in there, so is there somewhere out here?"
"And where would that be? We can't go back in there, so is there somewhere out here?"
“I guess we can walk around and look for something?”
Allison nodded. "So let's do that."
shiza looked over at the two before taking her hand off of the wall. Hopeing they didn't notice the ice on the wall she walked to a different wall and sat down.
Bianca took a deep breath. “Yeah, okay.” Then she called to Shiza, “Hey, want to help us look?”
"Look for what?" one eyebrow lifted as Shiza stared at Bianca
“A switch, or something like that.”
"hmph, fine I guess I'll help" She stood up and shoved her hands in her pockets. looking around halfheartedly her mind drifted.
(Bumpity bump
Allison headed off out of site to look, looking a bit anxious.
Bianca walked after her, scanning the wilderness for a sign of well….anything
Zoned out as she walked she ended up bumping into something. Looking down she spotted it with huff finding it was a switch and flicked it up finding it did nothing.
Bianca kicked said switch, and then looked to the fence, which was still humming. "It must be somewhere else" she said with a sigh.
"Let's just hope it ain't a puzzle!" Allison shouted from out of view.
"Yeah, yeah." Bianca said with a small smile, then jogged to keep pace with Allison. "Hopefully we get out of here soon."
In the distance, they spot a small, dilapidated cabin. The door looks like it was once heavily fortified, but it's been pried open. Upon closer inspection, jagged claw marks can bee seen all over the walls and doors of the cabin. But possibly, there's a control panel, or even just information. Is it worth the risk?
Allison ground to a halt at the sight of the cabin, all color draining from her face. "O-oh."
Bianca ran her finger down on of the jagged scratches. “What the hell?”
"Bianca, I think you should go back. Leave this…leave this one to me." It took a lot for her to say it, but she had a guess on what could be in there, and she had a better chance against it.
Bianca stared at Allison like she had grown a second head. “What? No way, I’m not letting you throw yourself into danger alone. We can go in together, deal?”
"That's a horrible idea." She turned to look at Bianca, and something about her eyes seemed a bit off and hard to place. "I want you to think about this, truly think about it."
Bianca thought for less than a couple seconds and then said, “Nope, I’ll still go. I wouldn’t let a friend walk into danger alone” She bumped Allison’s arm playfully.
"I can't see myself as much of a friend. letting you go in there with me." Her smile wavered a bit. but was there nonetheless, and her hands were clenched in fists as she entered the building.
Bianca smiled, and followed behind. She opened her mouth to say something fun, and reassuring, but closed it again when she saw the destruction in front of them. Papers, equipment, and books were scattered on the floor,in various states of disarray. And was that a tooth on the floor?
Allison changed direction, picking up the tooth and muttering to herself. "This is bad."
“Well, at least it looks like this place has been vacant for a while.” Bianca said, gesturing to the thick layer of dust coating everything.
"That's less bad. What kind of creature would you guess did this?"
Shiza stood at the doors entrance quietly looking around. Mumbling she leaned on the door frame.
Bianca held her hand out for the tooth. “May I?” She examined if for a minute. “The tooth is a canine, so we’re likely dealing with something that bites instead of say, clawing. And these ridges here, those mean it’s probably a dog, or wolf or something.” She blinked. “Huh, how do I know that?”
(Plz dont check those facts, i made that all up)
Allison cursed and turned away to go through a messy stack of papers.
Bianca tossed the tooth down, then leaned against the wall, surveying the room.
