Mendax shuffled over to the name tag thingy-mah-bob where Jasper was, handing out nametags. "Hello there! Name and pronouns?" Jasper asked Mendax, probably thinking that they were a younger kid. "M-Mendax, Th-the-they/ th-em, please…" He trailed off.

Frankie returned the grin, pushing her sunglasses up into her vibrant hair. "Why would we take your phones? What kind of silly nonsense has been drilled into your heads? Camp is fun." She shooed the teenager over to the rest of the group. "If can have everyone just kinda smoosh together, that would be great. I'm from New York but that doesn't mean I actually love yelling."

Ryan flipped his hair with extreme sas. “Ryan Kitsun, No preference, just no female pronouns.” His rainbow cape began to flutter gently in the air, his hair did the same.

Jasper handed Mendax a nametag, laughing at Ryan. "Can do!" He said cheerfully, quickly writing out Ryan's name and pronouns in cursive on one. "Here ya go!"

Frankie waved the next teen forward. "Name and pronouns, darlin?" SHe was bouncing on her toes in excitement, her model thin body practically vibrating with energy. Her smile practically swallowing her face. The first day was always her favorite.

When it was her turn, Joanne tentatively stepped up to one of the counsellors, her body posture radiating fear and apprehension. "Joanne Alanis—She and her."

"Perfection." Frankie said, writing her information on a name tag in flowing, looping script. "Joanne Alanis. Welcome home." The fiery ginger said as she pinned the name tag on the girl.

@blue_topaz

Joanne stared down at the name tag for a few seconds, slipping her hands into the pockets of her jean shorts before they could start trembling.

"What are you going to do to us here?" Her voice, however cautious and suspicious, had an edge of fear to it… she seemed to be far too grown up and a small, frightened child all at the same time.

"We're not going to do anything to you, darling." Frankie waved to get the girl to meet her eyes. "We're here to support you. The only thing that we're going to do is let you, be you. Who ever you are inside that heart of yours. Whether it be Joanne Alanis, or someone else entirely. You're free…" Frankie trailed off with a gentle smile, giving a little shrug.

"The leader of this camp has lot's of connections," Jasper interjected, as he was done handing out name tags. "He's pretty cool."

@AxolotlWarrior2506

"Excuse me, can I have a name tag? Oh, that sounded really rude." Valeria said. She was very impatient and didn't like to be kept waiting. However, sometimes she would start talking without thinking.

@AxolotlWarrior2506

Val stuck her tongue out at Court and laughed. After months of worry and fear about this camp, it was hard not to smile at the fact that all the fear had been for nothing.

Bailey came up to the girl with red hair cautiously. She absolutely adored her hair and couldn't stop staring at it. Then she noticed the . . . girl? The boy? The . . . person behind her, who had a shirt on that had a "definition of non-binary that said, "definitely not a phase". The person had pink, yellow, and blue hair. Bailey couldn't stop staring at that person's hair either. "Hi. I-" Just say it. "I like your hair," she said to both of them.

(So why not the other campers randomly appear after everyone gets their own name tags)
