@Hawkeye
Jack nodded, while Reed blushed.
Jack made sure his brand was visible, already too far in to back out now. “We didn’t say yes to this, by the way.”
Jack nodded, while Reed blushed.
Jack made sure his brand was visible, already too far in to back out now. “We didn’t say yes to this, by the way.”
"It doesn't matter" said Sirus, "We need info. And we could all die if we don't know what we're up against"
“He has an Achilles heel, at the bottom of his neck. But no one’s ever gotten to him before. And if this crest…. it binds everyone who wears it to him. If he dies…. all of the people who have it die.”
"Awesome" they said in unison each one being heavily sarcastic.
"Any way to get that emblem off?" Asked Silver.
Jack shook his head. “No. It’s impossible.”
(It’s impossible in my book, and they really do have the brand.)
(Literally nothing is truly impossible in my book… especially since Luma broke the rules of both time and death…. my characters probably will find a way around this…)
"Well there has to be a way." Said Rio. "I mean nothing is ever impossible with this lot. Just look at Luma…"
Jack rolled his eyes. “We’ve tried everything. And, we’ve gone to some of the best magicians, witches, healers, sorcerers, and double-agents, and they’ve all told us that nothing can get rid of it.”
"Well you haven't tried us yet" said Silver, " and if we really cant get it off then we'll find a way around it."
“Go ahead and try.” Jack said. There is no way that this is going to work.
"We can talk later about that" said Silver.
Sirus spoke up. "Anything else we shoukd know about this Alastair?"
“He’s smart. And manipulative. He knows exactly how to get to you, and he knows exactly how to hurt you. He has the ability to project images of himself, even when he miles away. You can never be sure if it’s him or not.”
"Great…" said Alex sarcastically. "Any reason why he would team up with Verick?"
(Fyi Verick wants all of them dead… plus power so he can take over the world… (meaning he soecifically wants to capture Alex Arthur Skye and Luninero.))
“An ally is always helpful, especially when they have the same goals as you. He’ll team up with this Verick dude, take us all out, and then, when he’s gotten as much power as he can with Verick around, he’ll attempt to kill him.”
"That won't be easy" said Luma. "Verick is a feirce warrior in his own right, and a devious strategist."
“Alastair won’t want to share the power.”
"Good." Said Alex. "They'll try to undermine each other."
“If they’re both smart, and strategists, then they’ll figure it out before anything could happen.”
"True," said Sirus, "But we can still use it to our advantage"
“If you say so. I have contact with a friend who didn’t get out of Alastair’s hold. He’s been promoted into a high postion. He could give you guys some information on Alastair that maybe you can bend to your cause. I’ve tried to use it against him, it didn’t go very well.”
"Sounds good to me" said Alex, "As soon as Skye's up we can look into that,"
"Do you happen to know anyone who has experience dealing with their forces?" asked Sirus, "Idk if you noticed but we are very limited in numbers"
“My sister leads a rebel group…..” Jack said.
"Any way we can get in touch, join forces?" asked Damian, finally speaking up.
Jack waved his hand, opening a portal. His sister looked out at him from it.
“What’s up, Jack?”
“You mind bringing your group here?”
Alex raised an eyebrow, watching carefully.
Anna waved to the bedraggled group of people behind her, who stood up. She stepped through, and Jack moved the portal so that they all had room to step out.
"Well that's convenient" Commented Frost,
Jack nodded. “What did you need us for?” Anna asked.
"it seems our worst enemies have teamed up" said Alex, taking the center, "While I didn't quite expect this" he gestured to Jack's portal, "We were hoping we could team up, work together before we all end up dead…" he said it with a grim tone.
“Alastair teamed up with somebody?” Anna asked.
Jack nodded grimly.
“Well, that’s wonderful.”
