"Going where?" she asked, looking up at him.

"The common rooms…I'm sure if we don't we could get in trouble. Unless you want to risk that and stay here?"

She arched her eyebrows. "What do you want to do?"

"Honestly? Stay with you for a little while longer."

"Then let's do that."

He nods slightly.

"Are you uncomfortable?" she asked quietly.

"Very." He hugs her tightly.

"I don't want you to be," she replied, returning a gentler version of the hug.

"I just…Never done this before…I don't know If I messed up"

"I don't think that you did," she said. "Anyway, I wouldn't know. I've never done it before either."

He blushes. "…"

"If you'd rather go back to the Common Room, I understand…" she said quietly.

"No. I want to stay with you."

Jamie smiled shyly. "Okay, then."

He softly kisses her.

She kissed him back slowly.

"I-I love you, Jamie…I really do…"

"I never thought anyone would ever say that to me," she whispered. "I love you too, Conner."

Conner hugs her tighter but not by much. "So. Guess whats just next week."

"The Yule Ball!" she answered excitedly.

He laughs silently. "You ready?"

Her eyes widened. "No!"

"Why not?"

"I need a dress!"

"Then get one tomorrow."

"Oh, I will," she promised him with wide eyes. "I didn't think anyone would ask me, so…"
