(She could be anywhere, she could be at fort Taurus or you could wait a tiny bit and see if they actually do have to run(it's up to PuffPoff) and jump in then :))

@Bandito

Shace crept to the kitchen, trying to appear casual. She stuck her head in the kitchen - all appeared safe. I hate playing the rabbit. She seated herself at the most empty table, which she didn't think was empty enough with four other people, and waited tensely for a server to come.

@PuffPoff

A guard ran up to Rheyna, gasping for air. "Rheyna! The two criminals you spoke about have been seen in the kitchen of building 59 towards the west quadrant." She nodded as if expressing her gratitude before sprinting in the direction of the building, her mouth set in a permanent snarl.

Like crammed himself next to Shace, looking around a bit warily. “I feel like we’re being chased. Do you think I should try my whistle again? See if there’s any help around?” He asked, fidgeting at the table.

@Bandito

"If you really think there are other real pickpockets here." Shace's eyes slid around the room. A server ran up with plates of food and dumped them on the table, Shace looked at them without touching as she also felt eyes on the backs of their heads.

@PuffPoff

Rheyna burst into the building, scanning for any signs of Luke and the halfblood girl. She made a mistake. I would have let her go if she hadn't knocked me down. She made her way to the kitchen, ignoring the stares of a few seemingly innocent bystanders. For a brief moment she wondered if they had already ran, but then she spotted the familiar face of the elven boy.

Like huffed quietly, leaning against Shace. The elf was still working on waking up, and the coast seemed clear at the moment. It was an odd, rare moment he got to have a restful lazy morning. Maybe this would happen more often?

@PuffPoff

Rheyna's protective vest was enough to make people move out of the way as she neared the two that had escaped her yesterday. She took out two sets of handcuffs from her jacket pocket, notifying bystanders that these two were dangerous.

@Bandito

Shace's mouth opened as she saw the guard approaching. At this point, she honestly had no idea why she was chasing them around. She slid off the seat and straightened, moving to meet the guard. "Reason for arrest?"

Deleted user

Luke has plenty of reasons to get arrested. He sat on the edge of the seat as stiff as a board, every muscle in his body taught as a wire. He was ready to cause chaos and run for it as soon as thing went south.

@PuffPoff

Rheyna chuckled dryly. This halfblood girl really knew her stuff. "Let's see….jumping off a building seems pretty illegal. You also tackled a defenseless soldier." She plastered her mouth into a fake pout, as if declaring her innocence. "Your friend here also jumped down from a roof and from his guilty expression he probably did much more. Both of you will be interrogated." She held out the handcuffs, staring blankly at the girl. "Don't make this difficult."

Luke waited, still as a statue. His instincts told him to run, but he forced himself to stay put, afraid of losing Shace again. “Listen, cop. We don’t mean any trouble. Just some folks from the east lookin’ for a humble breakfast.” Luke’s fake accent was borderline laughable as he shoved his hands in his pockets, about to go ride or die with his new alias. “The name’s uh… Angus.” He credit up next to Shace, sticking out his hand for Rheyna to shake.

@PuffPoff

Rheyna swatted his hand away. "Stop with the theatrics. I know your name is Luke."

“Aw shucks.” Luke pouted, his ears drooping a bit. “I never did anything to you anyways! Just made you run a little. And then I passed out, so I think I already paid my dues on that one.”

@PuffPoff

"Fine. Your friend still committed a serious crime, so you're coming with her for witness questioning." Rheyna growled. She was hoping that when she brought Luke to be questioned, she could also get him to admit to committing a crime.

“Shace was just trying to protect me. That isn’t her fault.” Luke protested, crossing his arms, his ears flicking. “You just want her locked up since she’s a halfblood, don’t you?” He bristled up, his shoulders tensing.

@PuffPoff

Rheyna narrowed her eyes. "Actually, it's the opposite. I was willing to let your fri- Shace go until she attacked me. I'd never hurt another halfblood without reason."

Deleted user

“I don’t see any wounds.” Luke narrowed his eyes, over exaggerating his inspection of her. “You know I worked as a doctor’s assistant one time, so I’m basically certified.”

@PuffPoff

This boy was getting on her last nerve. "It doesn't matter if I was injured, it's the fact that she tackled a soldier. Besides, I defiantly got a few bruises."

Deleted user

“Sounds like you fell during our little chase and need someone to blame it on.” Luke quirked an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. He made a “tsk” noise, clucking his tongue in disappointment. “No warrent? Covering up your own failures by taking advantage of us? Corruption at its finest.”

@PuffPoff

She was about to punch this pureblood boy. Rheyna growled, deciding to push her solider privileges further. "How dare you accuse a soldier of lying! You know very well what your friend Shace did." She ignored the part about a warrent, because technically she didn't have one.

Deleted user

“How dare you accuse me of accusing you of lying!” Luke’s pointy elven ears pricked up, twitching a few times. “I was hardly conscious! What I did happen to see, or did not happen to see, is impossible to know for certain. But to coerce my memory with addled tales? Soldier you are stepping out of line!” He gasped dramatically, his lips almost imperceptibly quirked into the beginnings of a wry smile. He was having fun with this.

@PuffPoff

It seemed like Luke was just playing with her now. She considered using her siren ability to persuade him, but if it didn't work than she would be exhausted and they would be able to run. "Don't pretend that you're the innocent one here." Rheyna held up the handcuffs, staring Luke straight in the eye. "Comply, or fight me."
