He nodded "you still have three hours until then, get some rest." He encouraged gently

"I don't need rest, Gabriel," she sighed.

he glared at her then rolled his eyes with a smile "when did you become so stubborn my love?"

She blushed. "I've always been told that I am stubborn."

"really, by who?" he said sarcastically "will you rest if I promise we do something tomorrow night?"

She looked into his icy blue eyes and couldn't look away. "Do what?"

He shrugged "anything you wish," he glanced at her "I hadn't thought that far, to admit."

Slowly, she leaned forward and brushed her lips against his while she whispered, "Alright." She stood and left for her room, purposefully leaving her sketchbook with him.

He looked after her, lips still warm from the kiss. Taking the notebook from the table and a pen from his desk. He wrote a small note in the back pages

Nathalie woke a while later with a start. She gasped and slowly caught her breath. Sleep was never her friend.

Gabriel changed and immediately fell asleep in his bed

She quickly got out of bed, put her hair up, and took a deep breath. She slowly peeked in Gabriel's room to see him asleep. A weary smile painted her lips.
"Sleep well, my love," she whispered. The door was closed quietly, and she took her notepad with her as she left the grounds and hurried to the park.

A few hours later, Gabriel woke up. Getting dressed, he went to his study to sketch out some ideas he had in the middle of the night

Roughly an hour later from when she'd left, Nathalie returned. She saw the light in the study was on, so she cautiously entered.

He glanced up as she came in "morning," he said and walked over to her "so what happened?"

"I showed him the designs and he moved the date up a few days," she revealed tiredly.

He looked at her in shock "he's making it earlier?" He sighed and pulled her into him, get some rest love. You need it. I'll see what I can finish up here."

She sighed and let her obviously tense body relax against his.

He chuckled lightly "I'm not a bed love," he pulled her hair out from her bun and massaged her scalp lightly

He smiled and kissed the top of her head " long night I'm guessing?"

"Yes," she replied, closing her eyes tiredly.

He watched her close her eyes "still not a bed," he muttered as he scooped her up his arms and brought her to her room. Setting down gently, he pulled the covers over her and sat down next to her, stoking her hair.
