"Thinking about Jared?" Cassie asked. To be honest, she was tired of the whole ordeal and it had just begun.
"Yeah," Piper said, not even trying to cover it up.

Tanner walks back to the rooms trying not to cause another scene. You've caused too many problems…maybe you should go back home…

"Am I missing something? Because over the past two days it seemed like you both know something you're not telling the rest of us." Cassie asked. She knew something was up.
"What do you mean," Piper asked, trying to seem absent-minded.

When he get's to his room he set's his bag down. "She won't care right? She's too busy to even notice if you left…" he said to himself.

"You and Jared? You guys seem like you know everything about each other. Did you lie to me when you told me about him?" Cassie asked. This was one of the few times when she was serious.

He sighs. "It'll be for the best…" He gets up and started packing a few things. "I'll leave first thing in the morning…I'll look for my aunt and then we can go home…"

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Piper lied.

Tanner laid down. "Maybe It won't be so bad…" He closed h eyes and tries to get a few hours of sleep. When he finally does it's a nightmare.

Cassie turned to face Piper. “Don’t joke with me. I caught you lying, now admit it. You two were dating, weren’t you?”

Tanner falls out of his bed with a loud thud, "Ow…" It wasn't even morning time yet. He sits up and holds his head. "That hurt…"

(Ok cool just checking)
She huffed a bit. She really didn't want to tell Cassie, but it seemed like Cassie would be angry if Piper didn't tell her. Either way, she would be taking a risk. So, she decided to just give Cassie a bit of information instead of the whole thing.
"Fine. The truth is: Jared was my best friend until I moved to my dad's. We went over to each other's houses all the time. I wrote him almost every day for the first few months, but he didn't respond, so I stopped. I figured he had other friends."

He sighs. "Welp I'm not even gonna try to go back to sleep…" He sits on his bed and stared at the bag on the floor of the room.

"Why wouldn't you just tell me that?" Cassie asked her. Piper was starting to get a bit annoyed. Since when was Cassie entitled to all of her personal information?
"I just didn't think it would be the best idea. But I really don't want to talk about this anymore, so promise me this: please don't tell anybody that I told you this. We don't even need to mention it again."

"…I think she likes Xander…That's the only reason she'd say that." He curls up in on himself. "She hates you…You left her pretty much on rad…You never answered…"

Cassie promised, and then the two finished the rest of the walk in silence. That whole evening, Piper stayed home while all of her kinda-sorta friends went out and did fun stuff. There was no way she could have fun at the moment.

Tanner sighed. "You really have gone crazy…" He said to himself. "You shouldn't leave just because you got butt hurt…"

Piper decided to take a walk around campus instead of just sitting in her room. She figiured it might do her some good, so she put her jacket on, got her key, and went out the door.

Tanner got up and stretched. "Maybe I should get fresh air." He got his jacket and went to sit outside. He sits infront of the entrance.
