Joker slammed the doctor into the wall "what do you mean she didn't make it?" Tears welling up in his eyes
"NO, Nononono that's not right, not right, not RIGHT!!!!" Brink sprinted to the sergery room, not caring about anything or anyone around him as he found his way to Vanessa
He turned out the yells and protests from doctors around him, the yells from the waiting room and the endless beeping from the monitor, saying that his only loves heart had stopped beating

Vanessa payed there lifeless.

"please Ness, don't leave, we still have to get married, and have kids, and grandkids, maybe destroy Gotham a bit for pass time. I don't want to do it alone, you know how boring that is and time consuming?" He brushed his cheek against her hand

The machine stopped beeping

He glanced at the machine then back at Vanessa "Ness?" He stood and got closer, trying to see if she was breathing "please, come in please,"

Vanessa opened her eyes gasping for breath.

Brink jumped back in surprise but quickly regained his balance "Ness your ok!" He was shove out of the way by doctors. He retreated back to the waiting room to find his parents sitting oeacfuly in a chair with the doctor from before in a straight jacket

Later vanessa walked out doctors at her side.

Brink ran up to them but stopped a few feet away, not knowing if he was allowed to embrace her "are you ok?" He asked, not knowing what to say other than that

¨who are you¨ she asked.

"you have got to be fricking kidding me, near death experience then memory loss?" He kneeled down in front of them in defeat "Im the one who's loved you from says begining t'll nights end. The one who stood by you when you were strong and layed next to you when you were weak. Your chaos to your calm and destruction to your peace." He said quietly, quoting one of his favorite sayings. "I'm yours."

¨is that from a movie or something¨ she asked.

"no love, it's from a poet I like." He sighed and stood again "you don't remember anything do you?"

She shook her head ¨ Last thing I remember is dating someone named Samuel¨.

"of course she does…" He sighed "you know nothing about me do you?" He asked quietly
"Brink honey, come on." Harley guided her son to seat where he sat down gratefully

vanesssa walked over to Harley ¨ good to see you Mrs quinn she said with a sly smile.

Too distracted by his thoughts and muttering, Brink hadn't heard Vanessa speak
"Oh your good Ness," she shook her head and smiled as she calmed brink down

Vanessa walked over to brink and kissed him.

His eyes widened in confusion "hm? Mmmmmm." He groaned and pulled her in gently " you jerk, making me splay out my feelings in front of everyone like that, how dare you."

¨Well It was kinda cute buh-bye now¨ she said starting to skip away.

"She's going nuts, isn't she? with the sedatives and drugs, they keep giving her. I need some of that stuff." he stood and followed, making sure she didn't get herself in trouble with the doctors and patients

Vanessa looked back smiling at Harley.

she nodded "yeah, she's completely out of it, pudding, you take care of our friend, while I make sure these don't burn the place down." Harley stood and followed them down the hall
Joker turned to the doctor "not so much fun now is it?"

Vanessa turned to brink " your cute" she said completely out of her mind.

"nothing compared to you, love." He followed close behind her, nodding to the doctor's as they walked by

Vanessa walked hand in hand with brink ¨They put a green cast on my arm.

" your kidding me, really?" He smiled widley and leaned his head on her shoulder as they walked "how's your side?"
