Rin swore as she hurried through the forest, a rucksack slung over her shoulder and Tyche on her heels. Hide hide hide. I'm all out of luck for now, so-caves! There were caves here!

@Joy_

Cassidy sighed. She was getting seriously bored waiting for the others. Maybe she should just go ahead and leave some sort of trail….

@Joy_

Cassidy whirled around, drawing her dagger, ready to fight. "Why the hell do I keep being approached by unconventional women?" she demanded to no one in particular. She looked the girl in front of her up and down. "What do you want?" she asked suspiciously, her guard still up.

@croccin-champagne

Rin's eyebrows shot up, but her eyes sparkled with thrill as she grinned, holding up her free hand. "Woah there, love. Just looking for a place to hide out."

@Euric_Knight

Dabria had just struck the flint again when she heard rough talking somewhere nearby. She immediately started towards the noise, expecting the others to be following behind her. Once she had reached the source of the talking it revealed to be Cassidy and some other woman that the former was holding her dagger at. The princess dismounted and approached Cassidy's side. "What'd I miss?"

@croccin-champagne

"Why are the woods suddenly filled with gorgeous women? Did I miss some announcement?" Rin quipped, eyeing the new woman carefully. That one looks like she could crush my throat with her boot. Gorgeous and scary women abound. Tyche wrapped around her ankles, watching the other women curiously.

@Joy_

(whoops sorry!)
Cassidy rolled her eyes and addressed Dabria. "Nothing much, though it seems we aren't the only ones who are hiding out in these woods."

@croccin-champagne

"Hiding out too, huh?" Rin grinned. "Who from?" It was a innocent enough question, but she really did have to be careful, especially around strangers in the woods.

@Joy_

Cassidy looked at the spirited woman in front of her, her knife still raised. "I could ask you the same," she said, raising an eyebrow. "but I doubt you'd tell me, so why should I tell you?"

@Joy_

Cassidy cracked a smile. "The look in your eye tells me you might tell me, but it would be hard to say if what you told me would be true."

@croccin-champagne

Rin held the small sack out in front of her, and shook it just enough for something inside to jangle. "What if I told you I got proof?" Tyche swatted at Rin's ankles with a meow, and she glared down at the cat. "Oh, shush. I'm allowed to make potentially bad decisions."

@Joy_

Cassidy raised both eyebrows. "A bribe? Really?" she smiled a bit. "Do I really look like someone who would take a bribe?" she looked at the cat winding around Rin's ankles. "and your cat looks, um, a little annoyed?"

@Joy_

Cassidy rolled her eyes. "How was I supposed to know you weren't trying to bribe me? You just held out a bag of money and said proof." she looked at the cat. "and she's right to be if that's stolen money. There are royal guards everywhere right now."
(We really need Dabria at this point….)

@Joy_

(I think so….. at least for a little while to see if they're checking in soon, otherwise I'll PM them)

@Euric_Knight

Dabria nodded in agreement with Cassidy. "Speaking of those guards, I hope you found a suitable place, Cassidy. I believe we could sit down and listen to this woman's story, once of course, I can trust her." The princess strutted forward in front of the woman, locking eyes. "Tell me that's not stolen. If it is, I will know. And if you admit it is truthfully, you must give me another reason to trust you, or else," She stated.

@croccin-champagne

"Uh, so it is in fact stolen, which presents a problem." Rin grinned sheepishly, taking a step back and making to shrug, but stopping about halfway. Fuck, I think I dislocated my shoulder.

@Euric_Knight

"Technically, we're all outlaws here, so why should I trust you?" Dabria asked, casually tucking her arms behind her back to subtly reveal her not-so-causal swords. Her shoulder looks off. Maybe it's just the lighting?
