(hey)
(hey)
//morning
(Well bitches I'm on now)
Jamie sat in the back of the car, blue eyes fixed on his hands. "Maybe I can control this…" He muttered, trying to stop the frost that had seemed to become a permanent part of him.
//hey hey
Ealnor knocked on the wall of the car before hopping in. “Hey,” she said.
"Of course you can," Leon murmured, looking at Jamie. He held on to the seat in front of him.
(sup loosers)
"He better the hell not freeze anything in my car." Maggie said to Sam. At this rate, Sam was the only one willing enough for her reasonable ideas.
“Jamie, are you alright?” She asked, sitting right in front of him.
//hey hey
"How am I supposed to be alright?" Jamie asked, tears forming in his eyes. "We were attacked by god knows what, and now we're what? On the run? There's something happening here, and half of us have freaky powers, and I can't even tell my family! I don't even know half of you. How the hell am I supposed to be okay?" He looked down at his hands. "You're all acting so calm, like this is normal, everyday stuff, but it's not! I never wanted to be like this."
“None of wanted to be like this, but panicking isn’t going to get out of this situation any easier. Stay calm, think rational. That’s how we’re going to fix this mess. “If you want some time alone, I’lol leave and drag Leon with me too. Do you want that?”
"On Second thought, let me go check on that." Maggie had heard some commotion from her car. She slapped her hands along the exterior of the car all the way to her drivers seat before turning on the radio and the heaters. She said nothing. After some adjusting, the station settled to a song Maggie recognized from trips with dad: Never Break the Chain by Fleetwood Mac, 2006.
//y'all still here?
(Yes, but I should be asleep, so I might just call it a night)
Jamie jumped when Maggie banged on the car. When the music and heaters turned on he looked at Maggie with a look of hate on his face.
"What the actual hell is wrong with you?"
Sam appeared at the window, looking guilty. "I'm…sorry. I put my 'logic' over what you guys might feel about this situation,"
“You’re fine… I think,” she said, looking down. Around that time, the squirrel decided to wake up from being asleep. It chirped and scrambled across the floor of the car.
"It's okay. We just need to think things through more. Take it slow. Make a game plan," Leon said to Sam. He sighed. "I'm not even sure where we're going to begin with. We all need to slow down and listen to what everyone else wants."
"Yeah… we need to be able to defend ourselves, but not lose touch with the real world at the same time," Sam said. "I guess I don't have any powers, so… I'll see if I could find a gun. What about you guys?"
“Wait why would we need a gun?”
“Wait- that’s not a for certain. And guns aren’t easy to get. We need to go through all possible things.”
//do u want me to set up the chances to find ur powers? Cause I have an idea
(I have an idea for Leon, but I just need the opportunity)
Leon cradled his head in his hands. "Forget guns. I'm starving."

//Okay, shoot
I can try to set it up
“Have a protein bar. One of us can head into town later.”
"Oh… thanks." Leon was a little surprised, but very grateful. He thought he may have been on the verge of fainting.
“No problem,” she said, rummagingnthrough her bag. “I’ve got a lot of books… theremwas on on magic somewhere, maybe you can read through for ideas,. Here it is!”
Leon opened the book on his lap.
"Hmmm… alchemy, sigils, necromancy? Shoot, all a real wizard would need is 'abracadabra.'" Leon was joking, but on the word "abracadabra," the book gave off a faint glow. Leon shook his head. "I'm seeing things, right?"
“…no. Find an actual spell and say that.”
Leon turned through the pages. "I have to try something safe. I don't want to hurt anyone. Help me look through this."
Sam shook their head, eyes wide. "Nope, I don't want to get vaporized,"
She scooted next to him and scanned the pages. “Try this,” She said, pointing at an incantation. “It means ‘cast a shield’, more or less.”
Sam shook their head, eyes wide. "Nope,"
“Sam, you’ll definitely have one too. It just depends on what,” she said, eyebrows furrowing. “You can poke through my backpack for ideas.”
