@Mr.Misfit
Brella shakes her head, chuckling quietly. "Well ain't you the most adorable couple," she joked, "Where'd you two meet, anyhow? Kinda odd, sein' a dragon with a donkey."
Brella shakes her head, chuckling quietly. "Well ain't you the most adorable couple," she joked, "Where'd you two meet, anyhow? Kinda odd, sein' a dragon with a donkey."
"Meh, better a strong donkey than a weak butterfly." Griffin smiled. "We met at the same place. We pretty much got captured and I got experimented on. Technically I'm human, but they altered my genes, hence the claws and pointed ears. And maybe the donkey…I'll have to think about it though."
Brella's eyes went wide, "But if you were human, then why'd ya get caught? And experiments? I've never heard them do that before."
You hear Crisp say. "They used me for medical reasons, AKA I had to take care of them. It wasn't fun, but it gave me experience to help here. It kinda help my aiming as well cause I had to be precise at times."
"It's nothing I'd like to get too in depth with, I'm just glad I left! I don't really know who Crisp was before he escaped; we met each other as we were both escaping separately, so ask him. I shouldn't be the one to tell his story."
"Aya. Not such a jackass, then. The Coalition might be interested, though. I don't know what they know, but they might not know what we know, either. Something to keep in mind."
Brella filed away the info for memory, then changed the topic, "You ain't tired?"
"Who, me?" She asked, pointing her thumbs towards herself.
"No, ya made your point already. I'm talking to our friendly neighborhood jackass, Griffin." Brella smiled, and waved her hand, "Don't answer that. We'll just sit tight and wait to arrive. In the meantime, practice your… 'charisma.'"
(Timeskip to just before arrival?)
(Sure!)
(Sure)
(yup)
(Okay!)
Brella woke to find herself in the pilots seat, a red indicator light going off above her head. She shrugged off her fatigue and prompted the console.
-Nearing range: 10 KM-
She slid back and adjusted the speed down. An automated landing governor directed her to pad 7. She agreed and let the autopilot take over.
All of that out of the way, she glanced behind her to see who else was in the cockpit.
Griffin is in a chair, leaning back, looking at the ceiling, almost as if he was lost in thought.
Crisp wakes up and sits in a chair.
"I guess we are near now, aren't we?" Crisp slightly smiles.
"Huh?" Griffin seemed to snap out of it. "We here already?"
"Yeah, guess we are…" Brella sighed, "Ya'll grab your gear and keep it close, but hidden. I wanna start a riot from within, not get shut down early. Aliens are on this station, so check your fire." She gazed over the team, then said, "I'm no leader, but I think Kepler should go with Grif, and I'll take Crisp to go transmit the footage. Unless you want to be there for that, Kepler?"
"I'm fine with going with anyone." Crisp grabs his stuff.
"Ugh, I'm with Kepler? Fine." Griffin faces Kepler. "Don't do stupid shit. Don't get in my way. Be sure you know how to make people mad. Deal?"
Crisp gives Griffin a look like he's saying "Seriously?" "Griffin, stop complaining. You'll both do fine."
Griffin scoffs, "I won't be helping him if he digs his own grave, buddy-ol'-pal."
"I think they'll make it through."
"Her. And she'll be fine. Unless she wants to come with me, ya'll better play nice."
Brella felt the landing plates touch home, and got up, sliding her laser pistol into her belt and moving her jacket to cover it.
"Any last minute changes or notes?"
Griffin grunts, but doesn't respond. He prepares himself for causing chaos, loading his guns and messing up his already messy black hair.
"Nothing, all I've got in my bag is med supplies, with my weapons are stuff hidden on me."
"Nope." Kepler said, putting her bag on and fastening it around her waist while taking the handgun and placing it in the holster on her belt. She then took the second gun and hid it under her jacket before pulling her hood up.
"Brell, I'll find you and kill you if you abandon me here to be left for dead without my approval." Griffin walks to the exit, where he'd get off first with Kepler.
"I doubt she'd do that. I won't let her do that to be honest."
"She'd do it to the friendly neighborhood jackass, maybe not you two though."
"I wouldn't leave any of my friends behind. Even if they are being jackasses like you." Crisp laughs a bit.
"Relax, we're all friends here. As soon as Kepler is ready we'll head out."
