“No use trying to get away now.” She said with a small smile.
“No use trying to get away now.” She said with a small smile.
He turned abruptly and began to walk away, breath catching in his throat.
(I kinda don’t want to assume anything about him so is there anything that she could use against him atm?)
(Sorry
(Are you okay? No pressure to respond, i'm just wondering)
(Frick sorry, I thought I’d replied!
Yeah I’m fine, how’re you?)
(its okay lol. I'm fine)
(What’s with the name change, btw?)
(Well, Lochlin has a very turbulent memory of the first time he ran away from home, when he was ten. He was on the street for weeks, hiding, coughing up blood, and when the police found him, he panicked and tried to jump off the bridge they had him cornered on)
(nothin :)
(okay that sounds good, give me one sec)
kk)
North looked up at him, a smile flickering across her face. "Just don't try and hide Lochlin. That didn't work the first time, remember?" She said, coughing quietly.
He froze, his back to her. “What are you talking about?”
“I think you know what I’m talking about.” She responded slowly.
“Get out of my head.”
His once-frosty voice was thawing, giving way to fear.
North stood up, struggling a bit with the handcuffs. “Maybe if you would stop focusing on your past so much Lochlin.”
“Get out of my head,” he growled, but fear slipped into his tone.
“You were the one who let me in, so. Most people don’t even realize they have a choice until it’s to late.” She muttered. “But imagine if you had jumped off that bridge. You probably would’ve died and then you wouldn’t be standing here right now.”
Before he knew what he was doing, Lochlin had whirled around, eyes blazing, and wrapped his hands around North’s neck.
North sat calmly, her eyes flicking back and forth like she was reading a book. Are you really going to kill me Lochlin?
"Get out," he nearly yelled, shoving her backwards.
North just smiled and broke eye contact, looking down at his hands around her throat instead.
Lochlin's hands tightened slightly. "Don't test me," he spat, eyes burning.
“Oh yeah this is making me so happy.” She choked out.
(Hey, sorry, it’s been a crazy day)
Lochlin’s hands continued to tighten, even as people began to take notice.
(Np :)
North slowly slid down in her chair until she kicked her foot up into his jaw and her other foot into his stomach.
(How’re you?)
Lochlin jerked back, letting go of her for a moment.
(I’m okay. Going to a friend’s today so that’s fun. How are you?)
North took this opportunity to slip out of her chair and get away from him.
(nice
I've been better)
Lochlin watched her go, eyes burning. At that moment, someone tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around, he found himself face-to-face with a security guard.
(Feel better :)
North started to get led away by her nurse as she smirked back at Lochlin. Violence is never the answer.
(thanks)
(should we skip?)
(Sure to when?)
