Maggie turned to Jamie and Leon in the corner. Jamie clutched his knees tightly to his chest, his eyes locked open. The color of his eyes was slowly changing, right now they looked like pools of water shot through with warm amber. She took this as a good time to sit next to Jamie and test to see if her healing powers could do anything to ease his panicked anxiety. "Ice manipulation," Maggie said, desperately refraining from singing a certain Disney song,"Flying, super strength," she causally listed powers that came to her head as she placed her glowing hands on Jamie's shoulders.
“Alright,” she said, flipping a page. “Flight, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis- I’m just going to write down kinesics. I guess I’m skipping the powers that non-humans are born with?”
“Shapeshifting. Sorcery, that thing where they have legitimate balls of energy and throw them at people-“
“Mind-reading, mind control, telepathy,” she continued, muttering to herself. Super-speed, a second-persona that gives various abilities. Suggestions?”

“Necromancy.” Lucille suggested.
"I think this is good enough. Everyone who doesn't have powers yet, follow me," Sam led them to the other clearing with the waterfall.
"Invulnerability, laser vision, teleportation, sound manipulation, illusion making…"
"HEY CAN I COME?" Maggie wanted to see this.
Eleanor shrugged and got up, notebook gripped tightly in one hand.
"Sure," Sam said dismissively. "Let's try… talking to animals first,"
Lucille got up, following Sam.
