“No matter what? Even if it hurts?” She pressed.

"I promise. Even if it hurts you or me."

“Okay. I promise to be honest you, even if it hurts you or me,” she echoed his promise, meaning every word of it, but hoping she’d never have to put it to the test.

He smiles softly. "Yay!"

Eden smiled at him, then checked the time. “I can’t believe it’s only 8! It feels like it should be later in the day. I always wake up fairly late in the morning becuase I don’t have to work until later.”

His throat hurt so he typed. 'Make sense.'

“Wanna do anything?” She asked after reading his reply. “We don’t have to go anywhere. Unless you want to. Either way is fine with me. I’m more concerned about just spending time with you.”

'I have to change and fix my hair first.'

“Yeah, sure. Go for it.” She nodded. Then she realized she was still in her clothes from the day before, and all her stuff was at her house becauase she didn’t plan to stay over when she left. “We’ll need to stop by my place, too.” She said.

'Understood' He gets up and catches himself before he fell.

“Woah. You okay?” Eden watched him carefully.

He nods. He's like this when he wakes up often.

“Okay. Don’t hurt yourself.” She said. “Take it easy. I don’t mind waiting.”

He stood up straight and gave a thumbs up.

She smiled, returning the thumbs up.

He goes to get changed.

Eden clean up the mess she made eating, then starts to tidy the living room where they slept. She thought that it might be good to use the bathroom and fix herself up a bit, but she didn’t know where it was and she didn’t want to ask and force Jack to call back to her from his bedroom. So she just waited for him to return.

He comes back in a flannel and black skinny jeans.

Eden would have whistled if she could. “Oh wow. You look nice,” she grinned. “You really are my type.”

"…" He types 'Thanks.'

“Yeah, no problem,” she winked. “Where’s your bathroom?”

Points down the hall. 'on the left'

“Sweet.” She hopped up and walked towards the bathroom. She fixed her hair a bit, as much as she could. She straightened her shirt. Her makeup was a little blotches from sleeping in it, but it wasn’t too noticeable. She sighed, Better get going so I can fix this mess, she thought to herself.

Jack sighs. he puts his shoes on.
