(Should they be interacting with Tyler and Lochlin or Macha?)
(Should they be interacting with Tyler and Lochlin or Macha?)
(Tyler and Lochlin, ig? Up to you)
(Sure, I can play them if you want??)
(sure! maybe it's their first day?)
(Yeah, who should they be?)
(maybe a girl to mix things up? powers, or nah?)
(yeah I can do that. She could be younger, like 10 or 12 or something? Or would that be weird?)
(ooh, that'd be really cool, actually)
(okay, uhhh she could have some sort of hearing or speaking disability. She could be mute but like, be able to read minds or something?)
(ooh yes please
Maybe since she's mute and can read minds, she also has the ability to speak through other people, but it happens without their consent?)
( by the way my replies might be a little spread out, I'm typing out an rp description)
(that's okay
and yeesss that sounds great)
(alright!)
(Should they just be in the cafeteria?)
(yeah sure)
(kk give me a sec)
Tyler glanced up as a nurse approached him and Lochlin, her hands behind her back. "You two aren't creeps, right?" She asked hesitantly as Tyler frowned a little. "I..uh..no?" He looked over at Lochlin. "Can't say the same for Lochlin here though." He snickered.
Lochlin shoved at Tyler's shoulder, his scowl softening into a look of bafflement. "No……?"
"Okay, well.." A small girl of maybe nine or ten emerged from behind the nurse, long waves of blonde hair covering part of her face. "This is North. She's just arrived this morning."
Lochlin blinked at the tiny girl, then back at the nurse. “What’s a kid doing in this hellhole?”
The nurse sighed and gave Lochlin a look. "I'm afraid that's not my information to tell. Just be nice to her while I go take care of some things." The nurse nudged North gently and she sat down slowly, her hands shaking a little.
Lochlin eyed her for a few moments, silent. He’d never been particularly good with kids…
(wait so she can read their minds and then like, speak out of..them??)
(I mean, she’s your character, so up to you)
(okay..sorry im just a little confused. Is it okay if she isn't entirely mute but can still read minds and stuff)
(It’s up to you, dw about it)
(okay then, thanks)
North glanced up and locked her own pale green eyes with Lochlin's for a moment before looking back down at the table. "It's okay.." She said quietly. "Most people aren't.."
Lochlin flinched, apprehension flooding him from head to toe. “Pardon?”
"I just mean it's okay if you don't think you're good with kids. A lot of people don't know what to do around me, i'm used to it.." North responded with a tiny smile.
Lochlin narrowed his eyes. "But I didn't actually say anything out loud."
