Dexter watched as her face flushed. His flushing as well. "G-great. My car's over there but I can meet you if you'd like. You could follow me in your car."

"I actually came walking, my house wasn't that far" Now her face was like a tomato

"Uh oh alright." Since they were still holding hands he led her towards his car. He was chivalrous and led her to the passenger side, opening the door before reluctantly letting go of her hand. "M' Lady." He said, smirking, before heading to the driver's side.

"Well thank you" she said and then nodded, she entered the car and looked around, it looked nice. Smells like pine trees she thought just as her gaze landed on one of those little pines you put on your cars to give them a good smell (cause I forgot their name….or are they just called little pines?)

After a couple minutes of comfortably silent driving, they arrived at a small apartment building. "We're here." Dexter said breaking the silence.

Eve followed Alex up the escalator, his hand on her elbow. "Slow down Alex," she giggled, "you have long legs and I can't keep up." she laughed.

He looked back at her and wiggled his eyebrows. "Useful for when I have to play hard to get." He slowed down, though.

(You should look into it.
Basically the group goes into a dark room full of obstacles (blocks, low walls, the really fancy one have barrels and the occasional truck). They're given vests with target areas, often around the chest, and laser guns. The aim is to hit the opponent's target areas with the laser. If you get hit your gun disables for ten seconds. The match is on a time limit, and whoever was hit the most loses)

Dexter ushered her in the door and they stood side by side in the elevator. Dexter noticed how close together they were and smiled to himself. When the elevator door opened he headed out towards a room on the right. "This one's mine."

Mila stayed silent, following Dexter to his apartment. She couldn't help it but feel a little bit uneasy, she was going into a stranger's apartment, after all, they just met today, but she also felt comfortable with him which made her feel very confused as well

"Oh? And when would you have to play hard to get?" Eve asked giggling as Alex slowed down so she could catch up to him.

He thought about it. "Never before, actually. I'm not exactly what you'd call a chick magnet," he said lightly.

"Yeah…" She perked up. "Oh! And I have turquoise green-cheek conure named Hermione. I love Harry Potter."

"I know what you mean. I don't really go out on dates." Eve laughed, feeling like she and Alex were really connecting. She hoped that even if he wasn't her soulmate, they could still be really good friends. After all, they had so much in common and she felt like she could tell him anything already and they'd only know each other for about an hour.

"Sweet. I read the books and watched all the Harry Potter movies when I was younger. Do you have a picture of her?" Isaac asked Meara. "Your bird, I mean." he finished with a chuckle.

"I have zero social life. Else I don't think I would have relied on a neon pink pop up to supply me with a soul mate," he laughed.

"I do actually!" She pulled out a small picture from her wallet. "Isn't she cute?"

"Me neither," Eve laughed with him, "I hardly leave my house some weekends. I guess I'm too busy watching Netflix and reading to bother with the rude people sometimes."

Isaac looked at the picture, "She's pretty cute, I really like the color of her wings." he commented with a smile.

Alex nodded along. "Painfully true." They got to the snack bar and he turned to her. "What do you want?"

"Me too. It's one of my favorite colors actually. Thanks again for the croissant." She subconsciously scooted towards him on the couch.

"I'm down for anything." Eve smiled at him, "I just want to watch this movie with you! I'm super excited!!" she said as she started bouncing before calming down again. She giggled and leaned into Alex's side.

Isaac put his arm around Meara as she scooted closer. "It is a good color." he agreed.
