"I can't decide…" He whined.

“Hey, it’s okay…”

"You have any idea?"

“Looks like there’s a small place down the street”

"Let's go then. If there's not a lot of people."

“I’m sure we’ll be fine.” He smiled and grabbed his hand.

Landyn smiled back. "Y-Yeah…"

He kissed his cheek before lightly tugging him down the street.

He followed almost dropping the crutch.

“Shit don’t lose that babe” he chuckled.

"I'm trying not to." He laughs quietly.

“Sorry guess I went too fast huh?” He chuckled.

"A little."

“S-sorry. I’ll slow down.”

"I-It's fine Alex."

“Just make sure you’re being careful okay?”

He kissed his cheek. "I am."

He smiled “You ready then?”

"Yep!"

He gently took his hand again and walked down the street.

He followed contently.

They got there without any trouble and the restaurant was relatively empty.

Landyn sighed.

Alex quickly grabbed them a table. “So far so good.” He muttered, rubbing his thumb across Landyn’s knuckle.

Landyn sat net to him so he could place his head on Alex's shoulder. "Knock on wood."

He did just that, lightly knocking on the wooden table.

That caused Landyn to laugh quietly.

Alex smiled at him. “So whatcha wanna get to eat?”

"Imma let you pick."
