Bridget sat down and worriedly declined a waitress.

"Joseph. You really are an idiot."
"I can say the same to you."

She clasped her hands in front of her and glanced around. She reached up to brush her hair behind her ear.

"Look…I know I can't take her away from you."
"Then why do you keep asking?"
"B-Because…I was an idiot."

Bridget saw someone familiar sitting on the other side of the shop. Oh, God, no…

As they walked out they didn't speak. but Joseph hugged her tightly

"OhmiGod, are you okay?" she asked quietly in his ear.

He hums softly. "Mhm. And you?"

"I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" she asked. "Are you really okay?"

"Yes. Just took care of something."

She couldn't help herself – she glanced at Blake while feeling Joseph's arms around her.

He smiles a slight blush but nothing much.

"So, coffee?" she asked.
"Bridget?!" a voice asked from behind her.

Joseph looked behind him. "Hi?"
Blake stared at the two people.

Bridget turned around to see Mira Rossweld smirking at her.
"Bridget Case, my God…"
Bridget cleared her throat. "Hello, Mira."

Joseph looked at Bridget. "Is this a friend of yours?"

Mira laughed. "You could say."
Bridget tensed. "No. We're not."
"Oh, Bridget… You always were the serious one."

Bridget turned to face Joseph. "Do you want to get coffee now?"

"Sure."

"Alright." Bridget quickly stepped closer to him. "Let's go, then."

He grabbed her hand and smiled.

Mira whistled. "My my… Bridget."
Bridget tried to ignore her. "What do you want?" she asked Joseph.

he whispered. "What's going on?"

"Bridget Case, the woman carved from stone, has a lover?" Mira teased.
"I'll tell you later," Bridget muttered. "I had no clue she even still lived around here."

"Let's get coffee and go ok?"

Bridget nodded.
Mira smirked. "Shouldn't you be in your office, Bridget? I hear it's your only known habitat."
Bridget gritted her teeth and breathed sharply.

Joseph walked up to her and slapped her. "Can't you shut up?"

Mira stumbled back and clutched her cheek.
Bridget raced over and blocked Joseph from delivering another hit.
Mira looked up and scowled. "Control your boyfriend, Bridget!"
"That's it!" Bridget snapped and stormed over.

Joseph growled but stood back. He sighed loudly.
