"watch and learn, my water girl." He gently pulled her off his lap and walked over to the lady by the desk. After a few moments of talk, she pointed to a private part behind her and the desk. Nodding his thanks, he went to the back and changed into Fuego. Walking back out with a smile, jerked his head towards Gina's door "coming?"
Marina's eyes widened. "No, you're not doing this."
He shrugged "I'll be right back." he walked towards Gina's room
She jumped in front of him. "Cas…" she muttered.
He stopped and looked at her "Yeah?"
He cupped her cheek gently, his fingertips warming as he touched her "she'll look for me later, she'll want to know who I am, Mar." He said gently "I won't go if you don't want me to, but know she won't stop until she knows who I am."
"You're going to show her?" she asked in disbelief.
"No, I'll let her figure that out for herself. I won't show her who I am" he took her hand in his and kissed her knuckles "my water girl, are you concerned for me?" He murmured with a smile
"Always, my fire boy," she purred.
He smiled against her hands and looked up at her "will you let me speak to her if I be carefull not to show her my identity?"
Marina sighed. "Fine. Be careful, my fire boy."
"I will," he promised as he pulled her into an embrace "I'll only be a few minutes, after that, I'm all yours." He kissed her head and walked towards Gina's room
She smiled at his words, then took a seat in the waiting room.
Gina was sitting up, but her eyes were closed.
he knocked gently on her door "hello?"
Gina's eyes opened. "Come in," she said.
He silently entered and stood a few feet away from her bed "good to see you didn't die from smoke inhalation."
Gina's eyes widened. "Oh my God. Am… Am I dying? Are you here to take me to hell?"
"what? no. I just wanted to make sure you were alright. You know, so I didn't save you for nothing." he walked around the room towards the window
"You're not the devil then?" she asked skeptically.
"I never said I was, I just said I knew him well," he smirked and turned towards her
"Then who are you?" Her eyes scanned him. "You look… familiar."
His heartbeat raced but e remained passive "Well duh, I was kinda the first person you saw before the building went up in flames, it's understandable why I look familiar."
"No, from somewhere else… your eyes." She studied him.
A fire ignited in them "I must go, it's good to see that you're well." he started to walk towards the door in depature
"Wait!" she cried, coughing heavily.
he stopped, though not turning around "yes?"
"Thank you," she said quietly. "For saving my life."
"your welcome," he replied, opening the door and walking out
Marina drummed her fingers on her leg as she waited for Cas to come back out.
