"Actually, I might get a coffee. Haven't had my caffeine today and it shall be black as my soul." She chuckled.
"Actually, I might get a coffee. Haven't had my caffeine today and it shall be black as my soul." She chuckled.
"I can pay for it," Lillian offered chuckling with her.
"No, I got it, really." She smiled softly, ordering the coffee finally.
"Okay," Lillian smiled and nodded, "If you say so."
"Actually, are pregnant women allowed to drink caffeine? You know what, I don't care." She shrugged, taking a gulp of her coffee when it arrived. "Mmm, this is why I say iced is better than hot, you can drink it immediately."
"I prefer hot," Lillian responded sipping at her own, "You get to scorch yourself and satisfy any self harm needs you might have."
"I prefer something more bloody for something like that." She shrugged, casually talking like this was normal.
"Normally I do as well," Lillian sighed, "But then Darren would find out and get all concerned with his puppy eyes and that's hard to compete against."
"Yeah Ryan does the same thing and it's just too adorable to resist. But I swear, he treats me like a child sometimes. I get it, I'm only 18 which technically still makes me a teenager but come on!"
Lillian laughed, "It's our choice what we do with our free time. Then again, how many times have you gotten in trouble?"
"Alright listen, it's not my fault I'm a high value target!" She laughed.
"You could be a little more careful," Lillian chuckled, "It's no wonder he worries about you."
"Hey, if people were constantly trying to kill you, Darren would be worried too." She pointed out with a chuckle.
"Yeah, and I would let him be worried," Lillian responded smiling, "But that'll probably never happen."
"However, I do, and I still let him worry because teenager."
"We're adults now deary. Not teenagers."
"Hey, 18 ends with teen so I'm very much still a teenager."
"Yeah, but you aren't living in your parents home. You got married, and you are pregnant with two kids."
"Honey I left my home when I was 17 for a reason you should know already."
"I know, but the second half is till true."
"That it is. It doesn't feel real sometimes. Like, I feel like I'm completely going off what I should be doing. I'm a kid just out of high school, I should be doing what you are. Looking at colleges and having fun with friends and making relationships. But then I feel another kick or he smiles and melts my heart and I remember that what I'm supposed to be doing isn't what I am doing and that's okay."
I died.
He returns!
Yay!
Or at least he did

"Yeah. It's up to you to pick out what your future is like, and if that means you have a kid at 18, then you have that kid at 18."
RIP
"It kind of sounds like you're accusing me of something." She chuckled. "Nah, I'm kidding."
Lillian laughed, "I'm not? But I can see how it can sound like that."
"Like, if you were talking to anyone but me, they'd probably be offended."
