"what? Alright alright I can't really get up if you're on top of me now can I?" He said with a smile

She moaned and rolled off of him.

He smiled and sat up "we can't have breaks now and then?" He asked and he got up and grabbed a shirt from his backpack, pulling it on and offering a hand to help her stand

She took his hand and got to her feet, smiling sweetly. "Thank you."

"your welcome," he pulled her close and kissed her before he started to walk off towards the city "ya coming?" He called over his shoulder

She smiled and jogged a couple steps to catch up. "Yup!"

" I want to check the hospital, just to see if the girl made it." He said as they neared the city

"Should we go as Cyren and Fuego?" she asked, threading her fingers through his.

"I'd rather go as myself so as to not cause a scene but either one works," squeezing her hand gently

"I'll do whatever you want to do."

"I remember you saying that exact thing when Rook threw me off a building in an attempt to kill me," he said with a smile

Marina blushed. "Don't jinx it…" she muttered.

He chuckled "your going to have to save my life again in about an hour or so. I think I have a knack for almost getting myself killed, really annoying."

"As long as it's almost," she teased. "I couldn't bear to lose you."

He glanced down at her "you will never, lose me." He told her

She leaned her head on his shoulder. "Good."

He kissed the top of her head and smiled. He pulled her towards the road going towards the hospital

Marina allowed him to guide her and her steps mimicked his,

"last time I saw her, I kinda told her I was close to the devil, wonder if she'll recognize me," he said as they walked down the road

"You told her what?!" She looked at him in horror. "Seriously?"

"mhm, I kinda meant it as a joke, nothing serious, something to et her mind of being in a burning building." he said

Marina shook her head. "Do you even know who it was?"

"Nope," he said with a cocky smile "no clue"

She sighed. "You're a great help."

"I'm sorry if I couldn't have a formal conversation while saving her life. I'll try to be more social next time I run into a collapsing building, Maybe bring a snack or two and sit down and chat." he glanced at her and raised an eyebrow

She shoved his shoulder. "Shuttup…"
