The fights we had last year about this were intense. Then we raised other questions like is a sub a hotdog or a cupcake a muffin. It was all our math teacher's fault cuz she asked the class and the class then spread it to the rest of us.
A cupcake is not a muffin. A muffin is a cupcake.
No. Water is a liquid that makes things wet.
No. The definition of water is "covered or saturated with water or another liquid". Water is not covered or saturated with water. It is water.
No. Water is not wet. It makes other things wet but it itself is not wet
Half of my grade had this debate with the science teacher for 6-8th grades because he loved trolling us students. They won. WATER! ISN'T! WET!
I'm glad that we all think so! So many people seem to think that it's wet.
Sometimes I just say 'is water wet'in the middle of class because I am chaotic neutral.
Today I made 3 jokes related to Pb aka Lead in chemistry and the people around me were laughing bc it was funny but also bc it wasn’t and that it my sense of humor.
Pb = peanut butter
Pb = another student whose dad is one of the physics teachers
PbS (Lead Sulfide) = pbs kids
We stan chemistry puns here
I was really proud of myself.
