He smiled as he glanced at her "I'll see what I can find, what do you want from there?"

¨Nacho fies¨ she said.

He nodded "anything else?"

¨A mountain dew¨ she said with a smile.

"as expected." He stood and walked towards the door "I'll be back in a few minutes." He left and found the nearest Taco Bell

Vanessa turned the tv on begining to watch old cartoons about Harley Quin and The Joker.

"your savior has returned….with food," brink said brightly as he walked in "alright, fries for you, and taco for me." He sat at the edge of her bed and crossed his legs "now how in hell are we going to do this?"

¨Do what¨ she said with a mouthful of fries.

"thought you couldn't move, nevermind then." He turned his head and glanced at the Tv "oh god why? It's so unrealistic." He shook his head and smiled

¨There´s Nothing else on and look harley´s beating the crap out of batman¨ she said with a a laugh.

He smiled at her laugh "at least one of us can enjoy TV's version of my mom." He finished off his taco and handed her her drink

Vanessa took a sip and put it on tv tray next to her.

He heard his 'dad's' voice on the TV and groaned "not even close." Once he finished his taco and drink, he stood and tossed his trash away. He sat down emxr to Vanessa and fiddled with her free hand

Vanessa leaned her head on his shoulder.

He ran his hand in her hair and kissed her head "schooch over kitty, your taking up the who bed."

Vanessa rolled her eyes but moved her body to make room.

"just because your injured doesn't mean you get the whole bed for yourself." He laughed and settled in next to her, wrapping and arm around her

¨Sorry´ she said with a sigh´ the doctors said if i get the surgrey I have a 50 50 chnace of living¨ she said.

"that's nice." Jay said with an awkward smile.

Both of them looked over at him, eyebrows arched. Their expressions were practically identical.

"I'm going to go…… Anyone want anything to eat?"

Vanessa smiled laying her head on his chest ¨I love you¨ she said.

He sighed deeply and glanced down at her "and I love you," he wrapped his arms around her protectively, whispering a song they both knew

As Brink sang veanessa began to fall asleep.

He stretched out next to her and nuzzled deeper I to the sheets

Vanessa smiled at him before kissing his hair.

He smiled and opened one eye, "ya know it's not so bad, as far as the beds go."
