Kate sighed quietly. Crisis averted.

Kate slowly looked her mother over. "Are you really?"

"that's nice." Jay said with an awkward smile.

He nodded, satisfied with her answer "then that's all that matters." He sighed and smiled "do want me to stay?" He asked quietly

He chuckled at the thought "noting the state your in. But I appreciate the offer." He curled up next to her

Vanessa layed gher head on his shoulder.

He leaned into her "keep getting yourself hurt like this a different you would t have any lives left." He pulled out his phone and texted his parents that he'd be staying with Vanessa

"*stay as long as you need, we'll drop by tomorrow morning to check on you two." Harley texted back
"mom says it's ok if I stay," he said "so what's there to do around here,"

¨Well i have needles in my wrist so I can´t move¨ she said.

He shivered slightly "let's see what's on TV," he found the remote and turned the TV on. "Ya hungry? I can go get something from downstairs."

¨No I had some yogurt¨ she said.

He glared at her "that's it?" He sat up and ran a hand through his hair and sighed "I'm getting you a proper dinner."

He nodded "I'm hungry, and I'm not living off hospital food."
