Rose scrunched her nose up. "There are no good movies out right now, anyway. Do you want to watch something?"
Rose scrunched her nose up. "There are no good movies out right now, anyway. Do you want to watch something?"
“No, not really.” He opened his eyes again. “Did you?”
“Kinda. But I didn’t know what to watch,” Rose said with a shrug.
Tobias shrugged. “Then what’s the point? There’s probably no good movies on.”
“Well, we do have our own movies. Whatever. I’m going to go read or something,” Rose declared, hopping down from the chair.
“You do that, princess,” Tobias yawned, relaxing back into the couch.
“You know I hate it when you call me that,” Rose sighed, glaring at her brother before stepping out of the room.
“Uhuh. I know,” Tobias said with a grin. “It’s true. You’re a puffed up princess.”
“Stop calling me a princess!” Rose shouted back, making her way to her bedroom.
“Ahhh… puffed-up princess…” He laughed.
“Shut up, Tobias!” Rose yelled, closing her door behind her so she wouldn’t hear him anymore.
Tobias chuckled and relaxed back into his spot. “Funny. Funny princess.”
Rose grumbled as she sat down at her desk and pulled out her laptop. She opened her favorite website, one filled with books and the magic of writing, and opened up the story she was currently working on reading.
(Skip again?)
(Sure. School? Maybe the LI’s come into play again?
I may have forgotten the name of Rose’s love interest…)
(Sure!
I don’t think I gave him one yet)
(Lol. Whelp…
sigh You want me to start, don’t you?)
(Welllllll
Yeah blushes)
(Lol. M’kay, then.)
Rose yawned as she walked to her locker. She had been up late last night reading her book. It was so good that she didn’t want to put it down, and the clock read 2:30 in the morning before she finally closed the laptop and crawled into bed.
Tobias yawned as well as he slouched into school. He had overslept when he fell asleep around 6, and Cameron had to shake him awake for school. He plodded to his first class, sighing aimlessly as he walked slowly along one of his shortcuts.
Right as Rose was about to turn and make her way to her next classroom, a foot shot out in front of her. She stumbled over it and dropped her books with a sigh. Ignoring the stares and giggles, she simply bent down to pick everything up.
“What the hell was that for?” Asked an angry voice from above her. It was the guy from yesterday, glaring at one of his friends.
“Whaaat? There’s nothing wrong with it.”
“Yes there is!”
Rose looked up and narrowed her eyes slightly at the two boys. “I’m fine, so your friend didn’t do me any harm,” she said, picking up her last few books.
The guy who helped her glanced at her. “Right. Sorry for him, anyway.” He turned to his friend and pushed him as Rose walked away.
“Don’t worry about it. I’m used to it,” Rose said with a shrug before she turned to walk away.
The guy’s friend kicked him back, and the guy growled, pushing him again. A couple teens whispered to each other as she passed, snickering.
Rose felt her cheeks heat up as she passed through the hall. Normally, she could handle it, but today… Today, there was just something about the way they looked at her, the way they laughed and spoke behind her back, that made her feel very self-conscious.
(Awwwwww ;u;)
The guy whipped around away from his friend and hurried down the hall to follow her. He fell into step eith her, panting.
“Look, um… where are you going?”
Rose’s back stiffened as she felt the new presence beside her, and she glanced over to him out of her corner of her eye when he spoke.
“AP Calculus. Why do you ask?” she wondered, facing forward again.
“I was just curious,” The boy mumbled, looking down. “You musg be really smart to get into AP Calc.”
