"What do you want from me?" They changed softly. Jasper smiled, letting her lead the class

Scarlett smiled and glanced at Jasper, "Yeah, I'm afraid, what do you want from me?" She listened to the kids sing the words back again before continuing, "There might've been a time I would give myself away, once upon a time I didn't give a damn, but now, here we are, so what do you want from me?"

He smiled proudly at them, biting his lip and dismissing a thought he had. she wouldn't say yes

"Just don't give up, I'm workin' it out, please don't give in, I won't let you down," She sang, pretending to play the guitar, "It messed me up, need a second to breathe, just keep coming around, hey, what do you want from me?"

"what do ya want from me?" he sang with the kids

"Yeah, it's plain to see, that baby you're beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with you, It's me, I'm a freak, but thanks for lovin' me, 'Cause you're doing it perfectly" she continued, trying and failing to not look at Jasper as she sang.

He looked back at her, trying to act as if he were scanning the room of kids but utterly failing

"There might have been a time, when I would let you step away" She sang, swaying slightly, "I wouldn't even try, but I think you could save my life."

He sighed through his nose and sang along with a smile "Just don't give up I'm workin' it out Please don't give in I won't let you down It messed me up, need a second to breathe"

Scarlett smiled when she heard Jasper's voice, nodding at him as she pretended to play the guitar "Just keep coming around, what do you want from me?"

He danced along with her "Just don't give up on me I won't let you down No, I won't let you down" he pretended to frantically sing into a microphone, the kids dancing wildly around both him and scarlet

"Just don't give up, I'm working' it out, please don't give in, I won't let you down," She sang, dancing and smiling happily "It messed me up, need a second to breathe, just keep coming around, hey, what do you want from me?"

She listened to the song end and nodded, a little out of breath from singing three songs in a row. "That was fun," she said with a chuckle, glancing at Jasper.

He nodded in agreement and smiled at her "take a break, I'm going to have the kids to solos with me in the other room." he turned to the kids and called some names "Julia, Marco, lily, and Jason. you four will be going into the back room for solos with me, the rest of you will stay here. Don't give scarlet trouble." he turned back to sarlet "you can come to watch if you'd like."

She shook her head "I'll stay here, I need a break," She walked over to the wall and sat against it, smiling at Jasper and the kids.

He nodded and rounded them up "alright, who wants to go first?" Lily raised her hand "Jassie I wanna go first," he smiled down at the girl "alright, the rest of you stay here."
"What song?" He asked as he led her to the solo room
"Writing on the wall by Sam Smith." She said
"Ooooh I like that one." He slid the disk into place and began to sing
"Ive been here before…" His voice was low and tender.

Scarlett leaned her head back against the wall and smiled, thinking about how fun it would be to sing with Jasper alone again. "Does everyone do a solo with Jasper every time you meet?" She asked the kids, "Or is it only a few every time?"

One of the older boys responded "we go through rotations, one day, a batch of kids go, another day, a different group goes. They really enjoy singing with him. He's a good teacher, and really fun. Can't say the same about Theo but eh. I know Lily asked you this already but are you sure you're not his girlfriend? You two seem…close, not in a physical way but in a …. Spiritual way, intuned to each other…on the same wavelength length type way. Anyways I'm sorry to ask again, you don't have to answer if you don't want to." Jasper came out of the room with a smile "Marco, your turn." He said to the boy

She chuckled "No, I'm not his girlfriend. Though I do consider him a friend..which would technically mean that I'm friend who is a girl, but we're not dating," She shrugged "You never know what could happen. I don't know what he thinks about me, but I might possibly sorta think he's cute," She didn't hear him come out of the room as she talked, jumping slightly when he called to Marco. She coughed slightly and looked up at him "Um…how much of that did you hear?"

He winked and smiled at her before closing the door behind him "I already know what song I want to do," he told Jasper
" Let me guess 'the other side's from the greatest showman?"
Marco nodded "mind being Heuge jackman?"
"Course not, Ready?"
Marco nodded
"right here, right now I put the offer out…"

She looked at the other kids and smiled lightly, standing up and shaking her arms out. She looked around the room and thought about going to listen to Jasper sing. "I'm going to go listen to them sing, be good," She said to the kids, nodding a little. She walked to the solo room and knocked on the door before opening it slightly and stepping inside.

They all nodded and smiled
Jasper didn't here her come in though Marco smiled
"Don't you wanna get away from the same old part you gotta play 'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride It'll take you to the other side" they both sang in unison

Scarlett sat down on the floor near the door, smiling as she made a face at Marco that said not to tell Jasper she was in here. She tapped her foot along with the music and listened to them sing, letting their voices and the music wash over her.

Marco smiled and nodded Okay, my friend, you want to cut me in Well I hate to tell you, but it just won't happen So thanks, but no I think I'm good to go" they both did a little acting to help the song along

She silently sang along to the song, watching their acting. She closed her eyes and just listened to their voices and the music.

The song ended. Jasper turned around and crossed his arms over his chest "stalking us now I see?" He laughed and held out a hand to help her get up. "Marco can you please send in the next person?"

"You wish," She said with a smile, taking his hand as she rolled her eyes. She stood up and smiled, letting go of his hand slowly.

He looked down at their hands and smiled briefly "awwwww you two are cute!!!" Atll he kids came running in at once and surrounded them "haha hey I said bring in one not all," he looked at Marco and shook his head smiling

Scarlett smiled, looking at the kids and then Jasper. "What's going on?" She asked, chuckling slightly.
