Cyrus covered his face. He was starting to have a panic attack, but didn’t know how to tell Sparrow that. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out.
Cyrus flexed his hands a bit to try to get feeling back into them, but it wasn’t really doing anything, and before he knew it, his breathing became even shallower and quicker as he struggled to keep himself from going over the edge but failed.
Luna nodded once more and placed Eira's arm around Luna's shoulders. She began to walk to the infirmary, "No problem."
Sparrow ran towards Cyrus and grabbed his waist "Cyrus!" She yelled "I need a medic in here!"
Eira leaned heavily against Luna, looking over her shoulder, worried for Cyrus.
Luna glanced back at Cyrus worriedly. He was having a panic attack, or at the very least it looked like one. Luna wanted to help him, but she had other problems to deal with.
A medic came and quickly looked at Cyrus, asking him a bunch of questions
Cyrus was overwhelmed by all the attention and eyes on him and breathed himself into a full-on attack. He was hyperventilating so hard he physically couldn’t even try to stop it, and he couldn’t speak to explain what was happening to Sparrow or the medic.
The medic looked at Sparrow in a panic "we need to sedate him in order to calm him!" Sparrow looked at Cyrus with a silent question in her eyes
Cyrus shook his head, face still covered by his hands.
He kept gasping for air to the point where it was starting to make his chest hurt. Sharp ringing sounded in his ears.
"Ok, do it. He will kill himself if he foesnt breathe soon." The medic nodded and did what they had to, to calm to hyperventilating male
Cyrus bent over, kind of pushing the medic away as he did so.
His breathing started to even out a little more, but he still felt generally really bad. He ran his hands through his hair, obviously stressed and still kind of freaking out.
Sparrow lightly pushed Cyrus down so he was sitting on the sparring mat and sat down beside him, holding his hand and looking at him worriedly "Cyrus? Calm down. Your fine, nothings is wrong. Just take deep breaths." She said
Cyrus squeezed Sparrow’s hand. Once he was able to speak, he cursed under his breath.
Sparrow awkwardly patted his head and looked at him. "What was that all about?" She asked
Cyrus let it a big, irritated sigh.
“I don’t know. It’s not like panic attacks are rational or anything.”
He was just kind of muttering, not even sure that Sparrow could hear him.
“God, my face is all numb…”
He rubbed at his cheeks, still trying to get feeling back into them.
Sparrow sighed "let's head to my workshop and we can look at the image them. I'll call Eira and Luna once you are calm enough to have then around you." She smiled
“Um… yeah…” Cyrus sighed.
He was going to smile back, but didn’t have the heart or energy.
“I’m so tired.”
He paused again for a few moments.
“I wouldn’t have died. They always pass on their own, no matter how terrifying and uncomfortable.”
Sparrow chuckled and stood up, reaching a hand down to help him up. "I know, but I was more scared now than I ever was. Let's go down to the workshop. Why did you have a panic attack anyways?"
Cyrus shook his head.
“I dunno. Just happens sometimes. Obviously I’m hella stressed and my body decided it was a good time to shift into overdrive.”
He was still visibly trembling.
Sparrow crouched down onto her knees and cupped his face "whatever is bugging you, I am here for you. Don't be afraid to vent, I'll listen." She said softly
“I know,” he whispered, “I just don’t know that there’s anything to vent about that you don’t already know about.”
Sparrow shrugged "let go check on Eira to get your mind off everything. How about that?" She asked
Nathan groaned and licked his lips "how long have we been in here? I need water."
Cyrus frowned. “Yeah, I guess.”
In reality, he wanted to curl up in bed and sleep forever.
Vida looked up at the ceiling from where she was lying supine.
“I don’t know. But any amount of time is too long with these assholes
‘taking care’ of us.”
"I'm getting thirsty as well." Esmae was now lying down, and didn't want to sit, so to get their attention she kicked the door, about three times. No one showed up. "The can't use us for leverage if we're," she paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "If we are dead!" She screamed. Esmae was now just irritated and pissed off.
Vida crosses her arms over her chest.
“They can always lie about us being alive.”
Katya let out a small sigh, "They could, and they probably will at this rate."
“Have you heard anyone say anything about Uriah though?” Vida asked.
"No, but I'm hoping they will. We came here for him, I need to know how he's doing." Esmae missed him, he was the first one to be kind and give her a chance. She saw him like a big brother, well she saw all of them like siblings.
"They probably don't care if we know anything or not," Katya huffed to the others, "We're just bait."
