(Okay, that makes sense? Maybe 3-ish because children?)
(I think three days is perfect.)
(Sounds good. Who wants to start?)
(I guess I can start.)
Uriah
It has been days since Uriah was chained up in the basement. It was hard to move because of the pain. The only reason he could tell it was a new day is because when they would come down to torture him, they would always say Goodmorning. Only when he wasn't getting tortured would they let him sit down, every other time he would be standing. He had bruises and cuts all over his body, some still bleeding even now. If they didn't kill him, then the loss of blood will. "Goodmorning." There it is the Goodmorning. "We brought you some food. Don't want you to die quite yet." He tossed him a loaf of bread. And Uriah ate so fast it was like it was never there. "You're such a pig. Now, are you going to tell us where Cyrus's guild is." Since Cyrus has been in the guild his whole life, they assumed he would be the one to run the new one. "Like hell!" Immediately after he said that, a swift and fast kick was met with his face. Uriah fell to the ground, groaning in pain. It felt as if a may have broken his jaw, but it didn't.
Esmae
"Guys, I can see the guild." Esmae didn't want to shout to loud in case there were people all the way out here. "Alright, we need a plan."
"We sneak in," Katya responded as if it was obvious, "Open windows are always good."
"Well yes obviously. But we need an actual plan, and back ups in case something goes wrong. We can't just go with the flow. Everyone needs to be on the same page." Esmae liked Katya enthusiasm, but they couldn't be reckless.
"Sneak in through a window? And if it doesn't work run?" Katya suggested again.
Luna was in a slight panic. Not obly was Uriah on a suicide mission, but now rhe kids we're all missing to who knows where. Cyrus and Sparrow were definitely more worried than her, but she was still a little upset.
Vida made a little face.
“Well… there’s this one entrance that my brother used to sneak out of at night to train,” she whispered, “It was almost too small for him to fit through. He had to duck and all that. Perfect for us though!”
Katya looked to Vida, "Really? Where?"
“It’s on the wing to the left, towards the back,” she explained.
"Then let's go there," Katya responded making her way towards the area.
Esmae followed behind. She gave up on trying to make a plan, because no one seemed to be listening. "Alright. Is everyone ready?" Esmae asked as she put on her wrist shooters. She left her giant ninja stars behind because there was no way they were going to fit in the tiny space.
"Yep," Katya glanced back at Esmae.
Vida nodded. “Mhm!”
She swept her gaze over everyone.
Esmae decided to go first and have a look around before everyone else came. It was longer than she thought, and she wondered where exactly this was leading to. When she made it to the other side she was higher up, it would take quite a jump to get down. The room was small and boxes were everywhere, it looked like a storage room. No one seemed to be inside, but if she made the wrong move and boxes fell. There would definitely be a problem. The tunnel was too small for her to turn around, so she would have to go head first. "Damn." She slid out slowly hoping to find a way down. Then it hit her, literally. The light above her hung down and hit her head. If she could carefully grab onto it and jump down it would go smoothly. And just like she thought, it did. Her feet hit the ground with no problem. "Guys it's clear."
Vida slipped through after Esmae, treading carefully.
“We’ve got this,” she whispered, mostly to reassure herself.
Katya followed after them and slipped in silently. She glanced around, "Which way now?"
"Um…" Esmae opened the door slightly and peeked out. Which way is best? Esmae wanted to choose what was best for all of them. She would hate it if something were to happen to any of them. "It would be nice if they had signs." To the right seemed to be many rooms, while on the left there was a long hallway. "Rooms or hallway?" She asked the others. Honestly she wasn't sure which way was best.
Uriah
The sounds of whips cracked in the room, followed by the screaming of a man. Uriah was getting defeated. There was no way out of this. He had no gadgets no tricks. The only thing he could do was not talk and give in to their demands. "If you don't start talking soon, I might just cut your tongue out!" Jax was getting tired. Sure they were friends a while ago, but now Uriah was an enemy. His body stung. His legs gave out a long time ago, so the only thing keeping him from tumbling to the ground was the chains holding his arms up. I'm going to die here. At least I can keep the secret. Pain struck his leg snapping him from his thoughts. He let out a scream and looked down. There was a knife in his leg. "If I pull this out you'll bleed to death, so start talking"
(Don't find him quite yet.)
(Okay, but they definitely heard the scream)
Katya heard a faint scream coming from somewhere. She looked from the rooms to the hallway, “I say rooms.”
"You're right. After that scream, we definitely need to search the rooms." Esmae quickly took a right turn and headed for the doors. She was thankful they each had a window on them, so she could take a look inside. The first one seemed to be more boxes. "How many rooms of boxes do they have?" The second room on the left wall, had a table with cards and a bunch of beer bottles. Esmae rolled her eyes. "One of you should check the rooms on the right wall."
(Hmmm they need to get caught… somehow…. I think.)
Katya nodded and began checking out the rooms on the right. Mainly filled with boxes and maybe one with a bed or two.
Vida also began searching the rooms. She saw nothing of note, but a lot of the contents of each room dredged up old memories.
Esmae stopped in her tracks when she saw she had just passed the records room. And of course she had to go in. If it was possible she would burn all of them, but she couldn't. Opening the door she heard nothing, so she assumed the coast was clear. The walls were lined from floor to ceiling with cabinets full of files on everyone who had ever been in this guild. "Well, let's start digging." Maybe, just maybe, if she found Panthers file in here, she could find a weakness.
Vida peeked in after Esmae and let out a little gasp.
“Oh, you found the good stuff, huh?” she whispered, “Weird they just leave it in the open though.”
Katya walked over to the room the others were in, “Good find Esmea.”
"Thanks…" Now that Vida mentioned it, it was a bit weird for it to be open and not locked. Her assassin instincts kicked in and she was more aware of everything. This could be a set up. I hope everyone else has noticed. Esmae was now a lot more quiet when walking around.
Vida carefully picked up her feet and stuck close to the walls to hide. She was getting some bad gut feelings.
“Esmae…?” she whispered, her voice wavering, “I don’t think we’re safe here.”
Katya glanced around a slightly and went silent. She didn't like how easy it was and wanted to hide from everything, but she couldn't do that. Not here.
Nathan stuck close to the others.
(Can someone catch me up?)
(The kids snuck away and they’re in the black claw guild now. They’ve just stumbled upon some files, but they were placed in such plain sight, the kids are growing suspicious.)
