Fuego heard a fourth explosion and headed towards it. Upon seeing Rook he slowed his pace "funny seeing you here Rookie,"

Cyren moaned and struggled to pushed herself up.

The grenade made a small popping noise as it exploded. Rook's smiled widened. "Well! Fancy seeing you here Fuego. I was very much hoping you had fallen off the building, but it appears even my luck is limited."

Cyren glared from her weak position on all fours.

"can't kill me that easily Rook," he smiled at him and tossed a fireball around in his hands, glancing every few moments at Cyren. "Grenades….kinda outta date now aren't they?"

Cyren shakily forced herself to stand and watched as Fuego toyed with his element.

"Perhaps, but I figure I'd go easy on you for a while after last time." Rook snapped his fingers, and a dozen baseball sized rocks rose into the air. "Would you rather I up the game a bit?"

Fuego laughed aloud despite the danger "I didn't even know we were playing."

"It's always a game with him," Cyren sneered.

"Right you are Cyren!" Rook gave Fuego a pointed look. "Funny, how you're the fire one, but she's the bright one. Curious, isn't it? Maybe you have fire to compensate for being so dull-minded."

"And maybe you have your antics to compensate for your lack of creativity. I mean honestly, throwing me off a building wasn't going to do anything."

Rook sighed. "Ahhh, but it was good fun! And don't worry, I've had a little time to come up with a more…creative plan."

He smiled at Rook "do tell, how do you plan to kill me…again"

Rook grinned. "Who said it's you I'm killing?" He snapped his fingers and all dozen rocks raced towards Cyren.

She shrieked and created a weak water shield.

"NO!" he launched himself at rook, knowing if he stopped the source, he could stop the attack. Turning completely to fire, he let loose a wave of his power, right at Rook

Rook laughed and backflipped out of the way, using his powers and landing on a fire escape two stories above, but he dropped the rocks before they could get to Cyren. "Aha! I told you it was more creative." He raised an eyebrow. "So, looks like I was right. My right-hand man owns me a new suit. Your relationship seems gotten more creative as well, hm?" He smirked.

"Riiiiiight. Well, as much as I've enjoyed third-wheeling this party, I've got someplace to be." he saluted ridiculously, grinning like the madman he was, and took off, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, droping and exploding grenades as he went.

Cyren blinked quickly, her heart pounding ridiculously. "Yes, I'm fine. We have to catch him, c'mon!" She used her powers to boost onto the rooftop and follow Rook.

He followed close behind her, trying to absorb as much fire as possible "you keep going, I'm going to see if theres any injured." He called and banked left towards an explosion sight

Cyren nodded and boosted forward.

He landed gently and looked in the buildings for anyone, already seeing a crowd of people up ahead

Cyren sprinted faster. "Give up, Rook!"

"Why? You haven't caught me yet!" Rook laughed maniacally. "Why don't you give up and I'll leave you lovebirds alone! You're the ones that always bug me." Another grenade exploded, sending debris flying into the streets below. "But you guys can't seem to leave me alone!" BOOM Another four grenades erupted.
