The gravity shifted a little, causing everything around Aislinn to almost hover. She got it under control again and everything landed with quiet thuds, but she still looked confused.

Zack let the girl go. All he had needed was their attention.
"What the hell is everyone doing? What cause could possibly warrant war at this stage? We have reached peace, why break it now?"
“I’m not sure this was really the best way to go about this,” Aislinn muttered. She was the only one who said anything.
Emma waved a hand. "Psh. You call this a war? Kids fight to hurt, not kill. We didn't break the treaty yet if no one has died yet,"
“That’s not hor war works, Emma,” Aislinn sighed.
(Anyone on?)
Aidan just nodded along with Zack, unsure how to respond.
Ruby continued writing random notes.
Zack stared Emma down, "Fights like these can get people killed. If not killed, some kid will get seriously injured, and then parents will get worried, and then it will get worse from there. People will leave, and those who stay will fight over control, until someone flips the switch that brings this whole place down and starts a war all over again."
He looked to the rest of the group, "Is that really what we want? Zavoem may be the better clan, but we can prove it without incident!"
He cast an apologetic glance to the others, hoping they realized he was just calming the crowd.
"You're not great with words, Zack," Aislinn said as quiet murmurs started all over the class.
Each letter got darker, more illegible. Her eyes got more duller and duller.
Zack cursed quietly, "Do you have a better idea?"
Ruby stood up, and walked to the door. “Excuse me.” She said icily, then she left the room.
Zack cursed quietly, "Do you have a better idea?"
“Not really… but saying Zavoem was the best clan probably wasn’t the best idea.”
Emma stood up. "Fuck you! Although I know most people here wouldn't admit it, Illeyitome is far superior to Zavoem, second only to Kemad,"
He felt his finger began to dance around the hilt of his blade, annoyed to the point of sheer anger by Emma's ignorance. She of all people should know that Zack was only trying to quiet a boiling crowd.
She had bigger problems than him, however. Several of the Zavoem boys in the class turned towards her, hands in fists. Zack took hold of his dagger.
Well, I tried, he thought, Now I just have to keep Emma alive long enough to slap her across the face myself. And then I need answers.
Aidan groaned. Way to go, Emma. Thanks for ruining Zack's plan. He tried to get the crowd's attention. "Everyone! Is this really what you want to be doing right now? Don't you guys remember the first war that happened between the clans? I don't know about you, but I do not want to die. I don't want my family to die. I don't want my town to be destroyed."
Ruby started walking down the hallway, her footsteps echoed down the empty corridors.
“You’re better at this,” she noted.
Ruby could see the office, she could also hear the people in her classroom raise their voices.

(Yeah, she trying to rise them up subtly so that it looks like she's a stupid Illeyitome. [Oxymoron] Also, she's trying to get the Kemad, the clan with the most students at this school, on her side)
Zack took a step forward, his right hand loose around the handle of his blade. A Zavoem against Zavoem fight he could handle. That would confuse the war rise, not stop it.
At least, he hoped it would.
What wouldn't help is if Emma started throwing punches. If that happened, he would have to move quickly to take most of the return.
Aidan had gotten the attention of some of the students, but the small crowd around Emma wasn't.
Emma hurled a small vial into the crowd. As soon as the glass cracked, a blinding white fog exploded inside the classroom, throwing the teens into chaos.
"What the hell Emma?!" Aidan yelled over everyone, trying to make his way towards the door.
"I thought it would make everyone work together to solve the problem!" (No, you didn't) she yelled. "Clearly, people aren't following my train of thought!"
"Throwing a random vial at people does not calm them down! Even I know that!" Aidan yelled back.
"Well, I'm sorry, I can't think well under pressure!" Emma huffed angrily. "It's not like I want to start a war," (Wait, how should they find out about Emma being an Illeyitome spy later? Can we do it later? If we do it right now, it'll feel rushed)
(yeah later would be better)
(Wait but how should they find out)
