He quickly shook his head “I don’t want to talk about it” he replied quietly.

"Alex…Please…Why can't you trust me…Never mind…" Landyn backs away and heads to his house. "S-Sorry for wasting your time."

Alex, full of despair, just let him go. He wrapped his shaking arms around himself in an attempt to stay calm.

He gets a few feet before falling to the ground.

“Landyn!” He ran back to him. “A-are you okay?”

"I'll be fine." He said getting up himself.

“O-okay…” he shrunk back.

Landyn was in pain. He tried to walk but fell again.

“P-please let me help you…”

Landyn sighs. "It's not like there's much you can do."

“I can at least get you back home…then I’ll just leave if that’s what you want” he replied softly.

"T-That's not what I meant…" Landyn said quickly.

“Just please let me at least feel like I’m useful…”

"You are… More then you know."

He just stood there silently seeming to shrink in on himself.

He sighs. "You already know about how I feel about you…"

“…I know…it’s just hard for me…”

"That's why I'm afraid…I don't want you to hate me…"

“I’d never hate you…it’s just…I’ve never had a good relationship with anyone in my life.”

"…" He looked away.

“I’m sorry….”

"…D-Don't be…"

“I just…I don’t like talking about him…sometimes I wish I could forget about him. But when you’re with someone for as long as we were…it’s hard.”

Landyn didn't look at him. "And when you find the only person you ever liked to you kinda want to help them as much as you can…"

“Yeah…” he trailed off, he wasn’t good with words.

"…" He sighed. "Can we just get me to my house…?"

He nodded, gently helping him to his feet. “If you really want to know what all happened…I’ll do my best to explain it to you….”

"Please…I don't want to see you hurt…"

“…I’ll be fine. Bruises will heal.”

"Alex…It's pretty bad…I feel like it was my fault somehow…"
