"well what I am going to do to get in is I will walk to her door ask Nicely to be let in. Persuade If I need to then open the window."

"Persuade…?" she indicated the fake money.

"that and the papers. Also my ID will help with the whole thing." He replied.

"Ah…" she sighed.

"let's do this." He said in a Fake excited voice.

She walked over to him and pressed a kiss on his lips.

He smiled and gave her a quick kiss.

She broke apart. "That was in case anything happens," she murmured.

"alright." He said then walked into the hospital.

Kate took a deep breath and hurried around to the wing where Maria's room was.

Jay got on the elevator then went to Maria's room.

The man was still standing outside her room. Kate set herself up and began to climb the wall.

Jay walked over to the guy and nodded. "Hello I wish to enter this room."
"Sorry but we could not allow you in."
"According to word on the street a shield agent is here. I would like to enter."
"I can't let you in."
"You know I never heard that a guard was to be posted here." Jay said to him quietly.
"Well why do you care."
Jay just smiled and pulled out the ID. "This is why I care now may I enter."
"Um I'm not sure if I can let you enter still. Wait were you sent personally."
"Sure. Can't tell anyone though. This is secret stuff." He said then handed the guy some money.
"Of course I understand sir." He said then opened the door.
Jay walked in then shut the door and opened the window.

Kate saw a window just ahead of her open. She grinned. He did it! She climbed faster.

Jay sat down in a chair. Then he waited.

After a few moments, Kate hoisted herself through the window. "A little help?" she asked. Her leg was stuck.

He stood up leaving the crutches and limped over. then helped her through.

"Thank you," she said. Her eyes locked on Maria. She paced over and took her hand. "Mom?"

Jay sat back down in the chair.

"Mom?" Kate repeated in a faint whisper.

Jay watched as Kate talked to her mom.

"Please wake up. I broke in here to see you, and I need you to wake up please…"

Jay sat there quietly not knowing what to say.

Kate's shoulders slumped and she turned away, defeated. "Let's go," she muttered to Jay.
Maria's eyelids fluttered.

"alright. Let me walk out first just Incase the person didn't leave." He said then stood up.

Kate nodded. A slow tear trickled down her cheek.
Maria's face contorted, and she moaned quietly.

Jay stopped and looked over.

Kate whipped around. Maria's eyes opened, and she half-sat up. "What happened? Where am I? Oh, God, my head…"
"Mom!" Kate cried, rushing over.
Maria's eyes widened quickly. "Kate!"

Jay moved and sat back down in the chair.

Maria quickly wrapped Kate in a tight embrace. "Oh, Kate…"
"Mom…" she whispered. "I thought you were dead."
"It'll take a lot more than a car crash to kill me," Maria replied softly.
