Kasey groaned and squeezed her eyes shut, glad she was facing away from Barry so that he couldn’t see her face.
“Barry…” she whined a little.
Kasey groaned and squeezed her eyes shut, glad she was facing away from Barry so that he couldn’t see her face.
“Barry…” she whined a little.
“Sorry, sorry,” he chuckled quietly. “I’ll shut up now. Go to sleep…”
“Good. You sleep, too,” Kasey muttered, curling up closer to him.
(Skip?
Not it. lol.)
(I deserved that, lol)
(Just to morning? Or to something else?)
(Morning. Kasey’s gonna see what Barry didnto her. Lol.)
(XD)
Barry groaned softly, rolling onto his back as a yawn parted his lips. He wiped a hand across his eyes, blinking dazedly.
(;P)
Kasey hummed and curled up into Barry’s side. Of course the air conditioning was working now… And now she was cold, with the little clothing she had on. She shivered a bit and pulled the blankets up over herself, unwilling to get up yet.
“G’morning…” he mumbled sleepily, cracking open one eye.
“Not morning yet,” Kasey mumbled, burying her face in his chest. “Too early and cold.”
Barry rubbed at her arms, attempting to warm her up. “You’re not the one who’s shirtless..”
Kasey hummed her acknowledgment, trying to ignore that particular fact. “If it’s bothering you, then you should go put a shirt on or something,” she murmured.
"Mm, no, I'm warm where I am…" he mumbled, mouth pressed to the soft skin just above her ear.
“Well, I was going to shower…” Kasey said wth a yawn. “So you’ll be cold when I actually get up.”
I could always join you… Barry brushed the thought away, instead snuggling closer. "Aw…. I'll be fine, though."
(That awkward moment when your girlfriend can read your mind. Lol.)
Kasey coughed softly, a light blush rising to her cheeks. “Mmhm… I’m sure you will be…”
(rip I forgot about that
lmao)
Wait—Did you hear that? he broadcasted, clearing his throat awkwardly. Whoops.
(Lol.)
“I forget to put my walls up around you sometimes. Especially in the mornings,” Kasey mumbled, still a little flustered at the thought.
“Right…” he mumbled, coughing a little. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine,” Kasey assured him with a small sigh, wrapping her arms around him in a loose embrace. “No big deal.”
“How long until you have to get up?” he murmured, biting the inside of his cheek.”
Kasey hummed thoughtfully. “What day is it again? Sunday? I don’t really have to get up any time soon… Why do you ask?”
"I meant for your shower," Barry elaborated, curling himself tighter around her.
“Whenever I feel like getting up,” Kasey chuckled sleepily. “Which isn’t right now because I’m comfortable here.”
"Mm, good," he murmured, biting back a dopey smile.
Kasey sighed contentedly and snuggled closer to him. “This is nice…” she murmured before a something landing on her side made her go “oof.” A glance over showed the little ginger cat crawling over her to lay between her and Barry.
“Good morning to you, too, Ginger,” she laughed lightly.
"Hey, not fair," Barry muttered, glowering at the cat. "Go lie somewhere where you're not separating me from my beloved."
Ginger looked up at him and “merrowed”, placing her paws on his stomach and kneading him. Kasey chuckled as she watched and petted the cat’s head.
“Hey, atvleast she likes you,” she teased, smiling up at Barry. “Maybe she can keep you warm while I shower.”
Barry blinked down at the cat, brows drawing together in confusion. "What….. is she doing to me?"
“Cats show affection by doing that,” Kasey answered with a shrug. “As kittens, they knead their mother’s stomach as they feed to get milk flowing. So she’s showing you her love by doing the same to you. They also have scent glands in their paws, so she’s also marking her territory by doing that.”
"I'm……. her territory. Right," he muttered, reaching down to tentatively stroke the animal. "Does she like dogs?"
