Trent rolled his eyes at her reaction, sitting down across from Blair and yawning again.
Trent rolled his eyes at her reaction, sitting down across from Blair and yawning again.
“Now would be a good time for coffee.” Lydia said.
"Er… Okay? Do you guys like to debate?" Blair asked, changing the subject by asking.
“Yes!”
“Depends.” Trent shrugged.
"Do you prefer to debate about animals, humans, or the environment?"
“Humans.”
"Hm, I enjoy debating about the environment but humans are fun to debate about too."
Trent looked at Blair curiously, his gaze softening. “What else do you like to do?”
Lydia smiled at Trent.
"Well, I really like to read, it's hard to retain the information though. I like to make herbal remedies, it's quite fun! Uh… Anything with gymnastics, I did silks for a while."
“Oh, Cool! My brother loves doing that kind of stuff.” Lydia said excitedly.
Trent smiled a little wider before plopping his head down on the table with another yawn. He felt like all his exhaustion had just surged now that Blair wasn’t considered an immediate threat. He still kept his eyes fixed on the other boy, mostly out of curiosity as he used his arms as a makeshift pillow.
“For real, Trent, you need sleep.”
"A good sleep schedule is needed for good mental health." Blair said, sounding as if he had repeated it many times.
“I assure you I am fine.” Trenton grumbled, rolling his eyes.
“Mm-hmm.” Lydia said sarcastically.
“I do not appreciate your tone, Lydia.” Trenton grumbled again, his gaze still settled on Blair.
“Well, deal.”
“I will move the coffee beans to the top shelf if you keep that up.” Trent’s eyes were starting to shut, but he forced himself to stay awake.
“You don’t know the lengths short people go to to get things. I will climb as much as I need to.”
“Bold of you to assume I won’t carry you out of here if I have to,”
“Dude, I swear to the gods, if you try nd Carry out of here, I will hurt you.”
"Why would you want coffee? It's just bean juice… Tea's much better.
“Precisely!” Trenton perked up at Blair’s remark. “See, dwarf! Blair agrees with me.”
“Tea? You mean leaf water?”
“She is a fiend. A heathen child.” Trent explained to Blair, sticking his tongue out at Lydia afterwards.
Lydia stuck her tongue out back, saying, “you’re just mad ‘cause you know I’m right.”
“Tea has been around for thousands of years. It was the drink of kings, emperors, and noblemen. Your bean juice is worthless.”
"But." Blair continued. "Hot cocoa reins above them all. Chamomile and honey tea coming in second."
