He finished getting dressed, but continued drying his hair. “Greetings.” Trenton’s goofy smile didn’t match his formal greeting as he strutted out of the showers.
(Okay!)

(Okay!)
“Hi.” Lydia replied, smirking a bit.
“Where’s the King?” Trent asked, referring to Sam. He then chewed his lower lip. “Ah, Im interrupting sibling time, am I not?”
“You’re good. I’m pretty sure Sam’s adopted you into our family.”
“You both seem to adopt people rather quickly into this family of yours.” Trent remarked. He meant to be out of amusement, but the excitement and relief from being accepted practically glowed on his face.
Lydia smiled. “Yes, I guess we do.”
(I’m going to go to sleep! Gnight guys!)
Trenton pondered this thoughtfully for a moment. “It is unexpected for children of the revenge goddess to show such kindness. I rather like that about you both.”
“You haven’t done anything to us, so no reason for us to get revenge.” Lydia said, only half meaning it.
(Good night!)
Trenton raised an eyebrow at her. “Is that a threat, dwarf? I don’t think you have what it takes. I’m too charming.”
“If we don’t take revenge, our mother might.”
Trenton pouted. “I suppose that would be unpleasant.”
“Yeah, probably.”
“What would you both like to do now?” Trent suddenly yawned, shaking his head a little bit.
“Jeez, I don’t even know. It feels like this day has been two weeks long.”
“I feel as though napping would be ill advised.” Trenton rubbed at his eyes, trying to wake himself.
“Maybe they have coffee in the kitchen….”
Trenton’s nose wrinkled in disgust. “You truly are like my brother. No, I will not partake in the consumption of your overpriced bean water.”
“Overpriced bean water?” Lydia asked with a raised eyebrow.
“It’s revolting.” Trenton shook his head, trying and failing to stifle another yawn. “And quite unhealthy. I assure you I can stay awake of my own accord.”
“You Can try.” Lydia said, heading off towards the kitchens for the second time in a day.
Trenton ambled after her, grumbling under his breath. “You should avoid caffeine. It’s an addictive substance.”
“Least it’s not drugs.” Lydia replied, mostly joking.
“Caffeine is a drug. I believe it stunts growth too, dwarf.” Trenton’s sentence was punctuated by a softer yawn.
“Oh, don’t use your logic on me. And I’ll take being awake over being tall any day.”
(Sorry, I’m back.)
Trenton lumbered over to her side stretching his arms. “I forbid you from drinking it.” His eyes darkened, a serious expression on his face. He looked over her, and with the same flat voice growled, “It tastes yucky.”
Lydia burst out laughing.
Trent cracked a smile, pleased that his joke was successful. “You can not deny it, dwarf. Make tea instead.” He nudged her with his foot.
“So bagged plant water?” Lydia smirked.
Trent reeled backwards like he’d been punched. “It’s not—“ He glowered at her before falling silent. “I’m disowning you. Sam is my only sibling now.”
Lydia put a hand to her chest and gasped dramatically. “How DARE you!”
