Trenton looked back over at Sam and Ophelia. “What were you both up to today? The morning was rather… eventful.”

Trent sighed and fell silent, giving Ophelia and apologetic look.

Trent nodded, relieved Ophelia was willing to let it drop. He wasn’t sure what to say next, so he tried to change the topic. “Any song recommendations for tonight?”

Sam began to say something but Lydia shook her head and said, “Absolutely not. We banned that song, remember?” And then turning to the other two, “Don’t ask.”

“Well that was helpful.” Trent smiled, rolling his eyes. “Good to know I can count y’all if I ever need to make a decision.”

Trent’s cheeks flushed pink. “I didn’t think about it too much. I don’t know much about popular music… I uh… I listen to country mostly.”

Trent’s face went from pink to red. “Well, yes, I suppose so, but… but there will be quite a large audience. I highly doubt they’ll know anything I play. It is a singalong usually…” He trailed off, awkwardly rubbing his arm.
