Fiona skipped on the boat deck to the center “Hello my name is Fiona. Fiona Evans, I’m a striker and this is my pet fox, his name is Arthur.” She smiled and pointed down to the tiny little fox. “I’m happy to see you all here old faces and new, and I hope we’ll all be good friends!”

Leah suddenly hugged Simon, in tears.

He let out a chuckle "Oh Leah, it may seem fine on the outside, but hell is on the inside." Simon got up, picking up a bottle of rum.

She kissed him on the cheek, and said, "Listen, you need to take it easy. Give it a rest for a day."

He raised and eyebrow, "But today our new crew members are here plus i'm captain of the ship. I have responsibilities, i can't leave them be." Simon poured a glass of rum and headed out onto the deck

Simon chuckled, "Lets see, ah i haven't seen you here before." Simon pointed at Caelan . '' Why dont you introduce yourself?"

The fresh air she'd known most of her life was quickly tainted by the salty, aroma staining it. Never once had the small girl planned to lay a toe on the deck of a ship, and the dog seemed to have the same thoughts,
looking extremely uncomfortable on the hard wood of the deck. His paws slipped every now and then only to quickly catch himself. Fay let out a small laugh under her breath at the large animal's clumsiness.

Everyone's eyes quickly snapped towards the Captains doors as they opened, listening intently to his words. The girl leaned against the railing of the ship, opposite of the crowd of newly made sailors. "Think they'll last, Ark?" Fay mumbled crossing her thin arms over her chest as the dog snorted and thumped his large tail, laying stiffly beside her feet looking quite bored at the introductions. Why should he care? After all, he was only here to look after the small girl. "You could at least try to seem like you give a **, you know…" Fay mumbled, nudging the dog's side again for him to grunt loudly in disagreement. A few eyes in the crowd glanced around- probably hearing the brutish dog's complains about staying aboard the ship once again.

The girl shrugged at his behavior, leaning down before sitting cross legged with her palm softly resting upon the animal's back reassuringly; hoping she wouldn't get called out by the Captain to introduce herself to the men and women. Ark simply gave her a quick sideways glance, and huffing almost like he was feeling the same.

//so I’lol just pretend he asked Caelan to introduce herself

“Umm, I’m Caelan, alias Sekhmet. I’m a striker. Yeah,” she said, uncomfortable.

Leah grabbed hold of Simon and said, "Simon, I really care. Please take my advice."
