"I remember," James laughed slightly, "I don't know. Probably freak out and start trying to find a logical explanation. I've never told a 'normal' person before."
"Or they'd think that you had gotten some implant or tattoo and call you weird for thinking the way you did," Sariel added, watching Bamboo run from room to room, each time carrying what looked to be leaves and dry stems.
"Yeah," James nodded watching the cat with curiosity. He didn't understand what the animal was doing, "Do you know what your cat is doing?"
"He…Hides certain things," Sariel said, looking into the kitchen. "Last month he managed to put one of my plant pots in a cabinet. I think until I found him he was just sitting in there with it," finally smiling, Sariel pointed to a small pile near the doorway to the living room. "That's one of them, I'm sure there are more I haven't found today."
James laughed a little as he looked to the pile, "Wow, that sure is a mischievous cat. Is he a normal cat or a magic cat?"
"As far as I know he's a normal cat," Sariel said, looking back over to James. "Do you have any animals?" He asked, moving his feet as yet another cloud of leaves and stems had appeared at the legs of his chair.
"No," James sighed looking down to see the leaves and stems. They grew incredibly fast, "I don't have any room in my apartment for one."
(May I join as Plague?)
Absolutely, fill out a sheet and you can start!))
Sariel nodded and put his feet on the seat of his chair to better keep them from the accumulating mess around him. "Is there anything else that you think would need to be explained? I can't think of anything else to ask,"
"Well there is one thing," James took a deep breath before getting serious, "You have heard about The Great Four right?"
"Briefly, a family member told me about them." He said, nodding a few times. "But it's like with other things like this; I don't know much."
"Tell me what you do know," James told him, "Because I have a sinking suspicion and I need to know what you don't."
"Well, I know that there are -obviously- four of them; Plague, Death, War, and Famine. Other than that I only know that they're horrible luck," Sariel said, now looking over to James with a slightly surprised expression. They're just stories though, why would we need people like that?
"Well, remember everything that kept happening on the subway? That was a sign that they were near, all four of them," James said simply, "All four are back and in this town."
(That's a really good questions why?)
(The Universe?)
(Thx!)
(It would be a balance thing, that as long as they exist in some way then those things will continue to happen.)
"They're real, all four of them?" Wide-eyed, Sariel turned back in his seat to face James again. "I'd never really taken the story about them seriously."
"All four," James nodded slowly, "You should have. Almost every major disaster can be associated with one or more of the four."
(I'm not going to be on again tonight, but I will be at around 4:00 PM Eastern time tomorrow. @Qxeenscryche, still post your character form tonight if you can.)
(Okay then, I'm working on it rn)
Name: Adelaide Juliet Carter, but she usually goes by Carter. Why? Because it gives her that badass vibe, you know?
Age: 22
Gender: Female
S/O: Bisexual
Appearance:
Height: 5'7
Eye Color: Her eye colour is a deep brown, with a dark circle around the iris.
Hair Color: Dark brown, average stuff. She never ties it, except for when she’s training.
General Features: Carter is skinny, but healthy. Her body type is average. She has shoulder-length chestnut hair, a round face with big brown eyes and large eyelashes, slightly thick, perfect shaped eyebrows and a few freckles on her cheekbones, but they’re barely visible. She also has fair, smooth skin. (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/427615350125887499/483310992013525012/f6f5612e-a20a-471f-ba1e-5a28d5aa8cb4.png)
Attire: She usually wears jeans/leggings and over sized T-shirts with different messages on it. If it’s cold, you’ll see her wearing a hoodie with jeans, she’s pretty basic. Since Carter doesn’t really like bright colours, she often wears dark ones, like black, dark purple, dark red and dark blue. These are her favourite ones! At night, she usually wears dark red simple PJs. But but! She almost always wears her pale green jacket, is also has a white C on its back! She says it stands for Carter. She got it from Jeremiah on their 13th birthday.
Which of the Great Four are They?: Plague
General Personality: Carter is usually quiet, she doesn’t enjoy being around people, excepting her brother. She’s very protective, even though Jeremiah is five minutes older than her. She can be found in her room, drawing or simply laying on her bed and staring at the ceiling. She tends to pace back and forth when she’s thinking, anxious or scared. Carter can be too honest, unaware of the fact that the truth can hurt some people. When she’s nervous or embarrassed, she’ll twirl a strand of hair around her index finger. Carter has a black, simple watch, but she carries it in her pocket instead of on her wrist. So, if anyone asks her what the time is, she’ll just yank out a watch out of one of her jacket’s pocket.

Sophia circled around the house to an open window. The man was just sitting still in a chair in his bedroom. Doing nothing. She swore under her breath. She had been so sure…
Thatcher ran a hand through his hair. He rolled his sleeves up again and stared at the ‘tattoo’. He traced it with his finger before getting up.
Hmm, Sophia thought, looking at the tattoo. A scythe. Death powers? Or just another foolish regular?
Thatcher grabbed his black sweatshirt and he put it on. He glanced towards the open window.
Sophia moved out of the way quickly as he looked at her. But she was unsure if she had moved fast enough to avoid his gaze.
"All four," James nodded slowly, "You should have. Almost every major disaster can be associated with one or more of the four."
"All four of them…That close together." Sariel said, speaking slowly and staring out the window once more. "That's odd," he added after a few moments of being silent. Turning back to face James, he said, "Is there any reason they'd all be in one place or is that how it normally goes?"
( @Qxeenscryche, she looks good, you can start and I'll add her as soon as I can!)
"I have no idea why they were all together," James sighed rubbing his face, "This doesn't normally happen. Something bad is going to happen soon, and I'm worried that we're going to get caught up into it."
"I wonder if they've ever caused something big like a war." Muttering, Sariel propped his head up with one of his hands. "I bet they were on the train too, there were some other," he paused, staring at a clock behind James, "odd people on there."
