"Sure she would" said Rykah softly, trying not to show how utterly terrified he was right now, as the water, not rain, just water, dumped from the sky.

“Another thing she and my brother don’t share. They’ve probably killed each other by now.”
"I doubt it" said Rykah, still extremely nervous.
“Yeah, I’m sure they’re fine.” Will was surprisingly calm.
(Hi, heads up I just found out that I have a project that I don't have anywhere near done is due today so after my school lets out in 2 hrs I will probably be working on it so by which time, If you see me on here for more than 5 minutes pls tell me to go work…)
(Ok)
"Yup" said Rykah, forcing himself to stay calm,
(As I do the exact same thing so I don't have a mental meltdown in class…)
(Oof.)
“Are we going to die?” Will asked calmly.
"I don't know" said Rykah simply,
“Ok.” Will replied, not understanding quite why he felt so ok. He knew he should be terrified, but he wasn’t.
(I’m back, sorry.)
(It's all good, I needed time to try and work on that science thing…)
They kept on like that for a few hours, the men not showing any signs of tiring, but they also hadn't switched off since the rain began. It was still raining, though not as bad as before, but the men's shields were still up. Rykah knew they'd keep flying until their wings fell off, but he also knew that no one could fly forever.
(FYI I basically just timeskipped til about 10 o clock at night.)
(Ugh I’m terrible at science, I’m sorry.)
Will had gradually moved closer to Rykah as time went on. At this point he was basically on top of him. “What time is it, so you think?”
"Maybe 10, 11, o'clock?" said Rykah, only just noticing how close he was to Will.
“It feels like we’ve been up here less.”
"We've been in the air all day will" said Rykah "Since early this morning"
“Still feels like less.” Will argues.
"Maybe to you" said rykah wishing he could lighten the load on the flyers, but knowing full well he couldn't risk trying to fly in the downpour.
“Sorry.” Will said quietly.
"It's ok" said Rykah realizing he had been a bit harsh,
“This all sort of feels like a dream.”
"I just hope it doesn't become a nightmare"
Will snorted. “Me too. But we can’t think about that, it’ll only cause problems.”
(Wow… Deja vu from a completely different roleplay)
"Right" said Rykah, trying to settle down for some sleep.
Will found Rykah’s arm, putting two fingers where the other kid’s pulse was. He had always done this to people, whether it was his siblings or his parents. It made him feel safer, although he knew somebody else’s pulse wouldn’t help him in the slightest.
Rykah didn't move as he felt his wings begin to puff up a little at Will's touch. For absolutely no reason…
Will quickly fell asleep, although eight before he drifted off, he wondered how f was possible that he’d slept in, taken a nap, and was still tired.
(I've had that happen before, also believe it or not I have another explanation for that)
Rykah relaxed into the net, staring up through the blue rain shield for ages as he too drifted to sleep.
(Next post should be around dawn, it will still be raining)
(Ok)
Will woke up, wondering how he had possibly managed to sleep in the odd position he was in. His neck hurt as he lifted his head up, looking side to side. “Rykah.” He said, putting a hand on his friends shoulder.
Rykah started a little, his body a bit sore from the position he was in, "Yeah?" he noticed it was still raining, and the men hadn't made their rotation yet.
“You awake?” Will knew it sounded odd, obviously his friend was awake. He really meant, ‘Did I wake you?’
