forum Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

"Rykah, it's me. Tell me what's going on."

"It's nothing" rykah said now really wanting to hide, "Really it's nothing" he moved away into the cavern.

"Hey." Will said, gently, following the kid.

Rykah didn't answer instead he slipped behind one of the crystals and tried to do a number of things, which included; trying to smooth his feathers, stop his face from burning, stop his heart from racing, and try to think straight. none of which was going very well. Whymewhymewhymewhyme

(lol, think straight)
Will stayed out of Rykah's line of sight, instead sinking down on the other side of the crystal. "Rykah, what's going on?" He asked quietly.

"I Don't know!" said rykah from behind the crystal
(OMG….)

"Can I come over there?"

Rykah went rigid, and didn't answer as his wings suddenly went even floofier, (If that was even possible)
(I gotta go eat now, will be back asap)

"I'll stay here. But I'm right here."
(OK)

Rykah tried to physically smooth his feathers as they floofed, causing a bit of a rustle as he did so. Not even trying to deal with his burning face he just sat down in frustration not knowing why he felt this way.

“Breathe.” Will said simply.

Rykah nodded, silently taking a deep breath, altho it didn't help much as his heart beat even faster, He's got to be able to hear it by now!

“Rykah, Listen to me. You’re safe, you’re not alone. Breathe.”

Rykah just buried his face in his hands, not sure how to let Will know that it wasn't that he was afraid or anything… just.. well… he didn't know what it was…

Will let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding. “You ok, Rykah?”

"I- I don't know…" Said Rykah quietly trying to figure out why he felt this why as his chest seemed to tighten at Wills voice.

“Panic attack?”

"no.." Rykah had had panic attacks before, and he knew this wasn't one, although his face had started to calm down a bit.

“What’s going on, man?”

"I don't know!" said Rykah frustratedly, just getting more confused by the minute.

“Ok, I’ll stop asking questions.” Will said gently.

Rykah carefully got up and sat down next to will, his face was bright red with confusion and his wings were poofing up even more as he tried to get rid of his confusion.

“Hey.” Will said quietly.

Rykah didn't move, he just tried to get his wings to calm down.

Will just took deep breaths instead of talking.

Rykah slowly felt his wings begin to flatten a bit as his face cooled, "I have no idea what that was…" he said softly..

“It’s ok.”

"Still wish I knew what it was"
