"You two idiots are so melon-cally. Melon-cally. Am I saying that right? Am I talking too much? I don't care. This is great!" Sacia whooped.

"Be quiet!" Marvin whisper- yelled. "The last thing we need is for Snyder to catch us out here freezin'. And it's pronounced 'melancholy'."

"Great is one word for it…" He mumbled to himself, kicking at a rock on the pavement.

"Okay, smartass," she said to Marv, poking him. "I'll shut up."

Finley rolled his eyes, grinning. "Finally." He turned to Marv. "I never thought I'd see the day when someone shut her up."

Great. I'm good at making people shut up. "You're welcome." Marvin quickened his pace.

"So where is this strike?" Finley asked. "I ain't really payed attention to it 'til now."

"Somewhere in Manhattan. I think we'll be able to find it real fast 'cause of all the excitement it's causin'.

"Manhattan…." Finley repeated, groaning. "And we's walkin' the whole way?"

"What, are ya tired?" Sacia asked mockingly. "I'll carry ya on my back if ya want."

Finley rolled his eyes at her again. "No, I was just askin'. Doubt you could even carry me."

"Bet I could," Sacia shot back, "you prob'ly weigh sixty pounds soakin' wet."

"That ain't a insult." Finley pointed out. "I thinks I weigh…seven-somethin', so yous pretty close."

Sacia laughed, "Yous weigh less than me! You're a shrimp."

"I am." Finley had come to terms with the fact that he was small a while ago.

"Look, the streets are completely empty. I think we're in the right place." Marvin quickly went over the route they traveled upon, wondering if they should have gone left instead of right. Oh, well. It was too late now.

"I hope you knows where yous goin'" Finley stated, kicking a pebble down the street.

"Yeah," Sacia agreed, "You look pretty lost."

"Of course I know where we're goin'. I'm just, a little unsure about this one path." Finley turned a corner. It looked like the right road, but, then again, all of these Manhattan roads look the same.

"Then you don't know." Finley pointed out, still reluctantly following Marv.

"I do, too."

Finley nodded. "Sure." He responded sarcastically.

"I'm sorry. Do you have a better idea of where we're going?" Silence. "Yeah, thought so."

He rolled his eyes again. "I'd rather follow someone who knows where theys goin'."

"Good luck findin' someone."

"Quit squabblin'," Sacia grumbled. Even her optimism was starting to fade. "It really is cold out here."
