Alex cracked a small smile. “I-I’m sorry that I haven’t told you everything. It’s still hard for me to talk about. I’m not trying to hide anything from you. It’s just a long painful story.” He mumbled, his face falling.
"I make sense…The only reason you know about my parents is because of that…Scene…"
“Yeah…” he trailed off before snapping back into focus. “We have to get you to a doctor”

He helped him up, letting Landyn lean on him for support.
Landyn winced in pain. "O-Owww…"
“Try not to put any weight on that foot okay?” He recommended calmly. “You’re gonna be okay, Landyn”
"It's kinda hard not to when you need to walk…"

Within a few minutes, they got to a local urgent care where they were able to check out Landyn’s ankle.
He hairline-fractured it. "…I'm an idiot…"
“You just tripped, Landyn. There’s plenty of perfectly intelligent people that trip” he reassured him.

“It’s okay Landyn, broken bones can be fixed.” He mumbled, gently grabbing the other’s hand.
"It's just…I fucked up."
“I know…but you have to move past that Landyn…”
"…" He curls up into a ball
“Landyn, it’s okay, we both have issues that we’re trying to work through.”

“…do you wanna talk about it?” He asked, since Landyn was clearly blaming himself over something.

“Okay…but I’ll be here, if you want to…”
He nods coughing a little.
“You okay?”
He was a little dizzy. "Y-Yeah…"
