I'm learning Japanese too! I'd recommend trying Doulingo and Memrise!

I actually wouldn't recommend DuoLingo, not because it's bad but because I personally prefer LingoDeer, it's a similar app but it's designed specifically for Asian languages (Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, etc) so you can easily learn the stroke order for writing each letter, along with some helpful pronunciation notes.
