Kasey was rather excited for the night. She and Liam were going on their first date in a while, so she was getting dressed up to go out. So far, she’d done her hair and her makeup, but she had yet to choose an outfit. And she refused to let Liam help her, saying she wanted it to be a surprise.

Eventually, she decided on something not too fancy but also not too casual. She put on a pair of skinny jeans, topped off with a white button-up shirt. She decided that a cute gold necklace and matching earrings looked nice with her outfit, and she pulled on some gold ballet flats to complete the look.

Once she was done, she stepped out of the bedroom and walked over to Liam, smiling a bit shyly.

“Ready?” she asked softly.

Liam bounced on his heels while he waited for Kasey. He couldn’t help that he was both very nervous and very excited. He hoped this night would be good for them, let them relax for once and hopefully be trouble free.

The male had decided to go for a white dress shirt which he had unbuttoned at the top and a pair of green dress pants. Not something he would usually wear but still nice.

When he heard the door open he looked towards Kasey and gave her a once over, eyes widened, “Stars you’re beautiful.”

The slight blush that had already been on Kasey’s cheeks darkened at his words. Her smile grew a little, and she looked down shyly.

“Thanks, love…” she murmured before glancing up and looking him over. “You look really good, too. I— I like those pants on you.”

Liam glanced down at his pants and grinned, looking back to Kasey, "Thank you, sunshine," The journalist took his girlfriends hand and kissed the back of it, "Ready to go?"

Kasey nodded, smiling up at him. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

“Definitely. What’s the plan for tonight?” she asked, her head tilted to the side curiously.

Liam smirked, "Dinner. At a nice restaurant in town called Crystals."

“Oh, that sounds nice,” Kasey hummed, noticing the smirk. “What’s with the smirk, love?”

"Nothing, don't worry." What he hadn't told Kasey was the restaurant was quite expensive, more so then what they'd usually spend but he was determined to spoil her.

Kasey narrowed her eyes at her boyfriend playfully, nudging him with her shoulder. “You know I can read minds, right? I could totally just see what you’re hiding,” she joked with a chuckle.

“Well don’t for once, please.” Liam squeezed her hand, pouting a little.

“I was kidding, Liam,” Kasey said, reaching up to peck his cheek. “I wouldn’t do that to you.”

Liam grinned, "Thanks sunshine," He kissed the back of her hand, "Shall we?"

“Yes, let’s. I’m excited to see where the mystery date is being held,” Kasey mused, leaning into him as they left.

Liam smiles down at her, kissing the top of Kasey’s head lightly, “You’ll find out soon enough.”

(Oh, no. I’m so sorry. If you still need time, please don’t feel like you need to do too much. I’ll be waiting when you’re ready.)

Kasey hummed, a content smile on her face. They made it out to the car, and she sat in the passenger seat. She watched Liam walk around the car with that same smile on her face and her eyes twinkling with love.

Liam quickly climbed in, a smile gracing his own face as he started the engine and started driving. He couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach, feeling more nervous then he had for a while.

“So… Where are you taking me?” Kasey asked again, turning to smile at him innocently.

Liam chuckled lightly, "You can't get it out of me baby, my lips are sealed."

Kasey pouted at him, leaning over with her chin in her hands. “Are you sure? What if I kissed you?”

Liam shook his head, “Bribery won’t work on me.”

Kasey hummed, scrunching up her nose. “All right… Fine… I suppose I can wait,” she sighed dramatically.

Liam shook his head against and groaned, “No, don’t do the whole nose scrunch thing, it’s too cute.”

“Oh, you mean this?” Kasey laughed as she scrunched her nose up again, a grin forming on her lips.

“Kaseeyyyy stoppp.” Liam whined, holding back a laugh.

“Fine, fine,” Kasey laughed, leaning back in her seat with a grin. “I guess I’ll just wait to find out until we get there.”

Liam hummed a little and nodded, “Indeed you will,” He sent her a wink, a grin plastered on his face.
