“Well yo toco mi guitarra o mi violen. Otherwise I do a lot of writing,” Eva said after some thought.
“Well yo toco mi guitarra o mi violen. Otherwise I do a lot of writing,” Eva said after some thought.
Glancing up, Mallory noticed a small group of people walking through the gardens and talking.
Oliver’s head jerked up when he was addressed with a question. “I just like to play guitar and bake,” he said, adjusting his backpack.
Akari hummed for a second, thinking over the sentence before it clicked "That's pretty cool. It's nice to dabble in different sounds." he looked back at the male, slowing his own pace slightly until Oliver was next to him "You seem a bit slow mate, something bothering you?" He looked back to the front, slightly wondering if he should've walked alone. He liked the two but he felt as though he made people uncomfortable. I mean with his past in gangs and all.
Shoving her book back into her backpack, Malory looked for an exit from the gardens, feeling like she was listening to a private conversation. The only exit she saw, however, could only be reached by walking past the group.
As Meredith left the room, she noticed that Oliver seemed a bit quiet. He's been acting a little strange since that new boy introduced himself. Maybe it's something to do with him. She thought as she began walking up the many flights of stairs that led to her dorm room.
(Who should Mallory room with?)
((Akari doesn't have a roommate either so should they room together?
(Sure.)
“Ah, no, but thanks for asking.” Oliver said, giving Akari a small smile. His French accent always got thicker when he was nervous, and he hated it. Maybe I should’ve went back to the dorm with Meredith… then I wouldn’t be embarrassing myself.
Carefully walking past the group, Mallory exits the gardens and heads into the school to find her dorm.
(shoot I've had 500 errors for the past five hours)
Once Meredith made it inside her dorm room, she took out one of the books she brought and began reading. Her older brother was an author who wrote about space and the possibility of multiple dimensions, and Meredith loved to read his books. She had read this particular one five times already, but she still found it very intriguing.
(Same)
Robin went back to his room and sat down on his bed.
"I'm rooming with a boy?" Mallory exclaims, looking at the dorm sheets. "Great, more this to be awkward about." She sighs.
Akari looked ahead, slightly confused on how they hadn't found a gym yet. As he was about to say something, he cut himself of by yawning. A small blush rising to his face as his arm covered his mouth.
Eva looked around, "Huh, we haven't found the gym yet. Strange, everyone doing okay?"
Meredith began humming to herself as she flipped through her brother's book. Outside the window, she saw that the sun was starting to sink behind the horizon. Exploring a new school with strangers really passes time. She thought as she began to sing 'Tomorrow' from Annie to herself.
Walking into her room, Mallory plunks down on the empty bed, the other one filled with suitcases and bags.
Did I underpack? She worriedly unzips her bag, pulling out her list of needed school supplies and checks through all her belongs one by one. No. That must mean Akari overpacked. That must be a hassle.
((Akari hasn't been to the dorms yet and only has one backpack…
(Whoops sorry, I read the wrong thing from before.)
((It's coolio dudlio XD
Akari looked over at Eva "I'm fine. and speaking of the devil, i think that might be the gym." He rolled his shoulders slightly to loosen his muscles before turning to the others "So you guys gonna stay for defense lessons or what?" he said as he slipped off his bag the said object landing with a small thump before he places Wombat on a random bench.
Eva bounced up and down as she looked around the gym, "Defense lesson? Yes please!"
Meredith finished scanning the last page of the book before setting it down on her dresser. I didn't think I'd finish it that quickly. Maybe I should head down to the gym with the others…but I really don't want to leave the dorm. It's so cosy…
Akari looked slightly surprised she took the other before going back to his resting expression. "Okay, you can go first then." He shrugged his hood off, doing the same for his undershirt to reveal his burgundy tank top. He stretched his arms out slightly, before looking at Eva "So to start, do you know any self defense moves?"
"A few," Eva responded doing a quick stretch before brushing the skirt of her dress, "No mas importante back home so I never bothered learning a lot."
Akari nodded "In a second i am going to pretend to punch you. now i need you to move so you're next to my arm, you can then grab my arm and go for my eye. Okay?" Akari changed his stance slightly so he seemed more hostile.
"Okay," Eva nodded her position switched to defensive. She had no idea why she needed to go for the eye, but if it that's what he said okay.
Akari mimicked what he would usually do but in a slower motion so she would get the gist of it, as he went to punch he made sure he avoided actual contact.
Eva remembered what he did earlier and tried to mimic the movements. Even though it was sliw and sloppy.
