@Hawkeye
Will gaped, watching carefully, but stepping back out of instinct.
Will gaped, watching carefully, but stepping back out of instinct.
Suddenly the violet aura went wild for a few seconds, causing things to float, the golden aura's music sped up and the aura mixed with the violet one, the silver one joined it causing the power rippling through the air to become more intense. this lasted for about a minute before it faded and the auras went back to their mesmerizing dance. but this time their dance was slower, muted, and almost sad. And if you looked past the auras, and focused on Rykah you could see how his wings shook with the tears of fear, and loneliness..
“Rykah!” Will yelled, hoping to catch the shaking kid’s attention.
Rykah couldn't hear him over the music of his own aura, wrapped up and lost in his own world. But the aura's heard him, and they, as if they had a mind of their own, opened up a small path to Rykah.
Will slowly stepped up, and put a hand on Rykah’s shaking shoulder. “Hey.”
Rykah froze, not knowing what to do when he heard Will's voice..
“Rykah, look at me, man.” Will said, gently.
Rykah slowly turned, wiping tears away before meeting Will's eyes, he didn't say anything, not even trying to hide his fear or control his auras, because he knew at that moment, he couldn't have done so even if he wanted to..
“Rykah…” Will said, putting his hands on both of Rykah’s shoulders.
(are you good with this whole thing getting weird? Cause apparently the post I was writing wants to take this to another world-ish? [I don't control my characters… Never have.. never will…])
(I mean…. yeah? Like magic weird or like WEIRD weird?)
(Magic weird i think…)
Rykah still didn't say anything, in fact all he wanted to do was curl up and hide, but he couldn't.. suddenly the auras whipped around even faster, and Rykah stared at them in fear, knowing what was happening, then remembering that Will was with him, he quickly grabbed Will's arm just as the ground opened up beneath them, causing them to fall into what seemed to be a starry sky.
(Oh yeah, that’s fine.)
“Holy crap! What the heck just happened?!”
Rykah's aura's were still swirling around them as Rykah tried his best not to panick. "Just hang on!" he yelled, "It- its just a portal!" he tried to calm down as they fell Alice-in-Wonderland-style down into the starry void around them.. Rykah was still gripping Will's arm quite tightly as they fell, his wings more fluffed than usual.
“What?!” Will yelled, but then thinking back to Rykah’s terrified expression, he calmed down.
Rykah pulled Will closer to him, trying his best to calm down, then he saw the white light below them, looking closer he saw the speck of green in the middle, oh-no-oh-no-oh-no-oh-no- he thought realizing he'd have to fly himself, and Will to the safety of the Island or they were both dead. "Will!" he yelled his voice kinda panicked, "I need you to hang on to me! and don't let go!" he yelled as the white light got closer.
“Alright!” Will yelled.
Suddenly they fell through the white light and were falling through the air, there were clouds surrounding them and what seemed to be a floating island beneath them, below the island was pitch black. Rykah tried to level their fall by turning horizontal, and he carefully opened his wings to slow their fall, his grip on Will's arms was tight, and he was trying to slow their fall enough so he could get his wings open without breaking one due to the speed they were falling at.
“Where are we?!”
Rykah didn't answer as he finally had his wings spread out and they were now spiraling down towards the island. Looking at the Island you could see the lush landscape it held, there was even a waterfall falling from the eastern edge. But looking past the Island, and down into the pitch black beneath you coulds actually see that the black made up an entire landscape as well, trees, mountains, rivers, all of it was there, but it was covered in what looked like a black goo. "hang on!" yelled Ryakh, knowing they were in for a rough landing as the trees of the island came closer and closer.
“Erm…. Rykah?”
Then they hit the trees. Rykah had managed to catch a sturdy branch and Will's collar after falling through most of the outer leaves. They were hanging a few metres off the ground, but not far enough that falling from there would get them hurt. "Yeah?" asked Rykah, breathless.
“What just happened?” Will asked, looking around.
"We fell through a portal" said Rykah, weakly, "Uhm.. do you mind if I let go now?"
“Go ahead.” Will said.
Rykah let go of the branch causing them to fall to the forest floor, Rykah flopped, not wanting to even think, much less be where they were, much less tell Will that… well… he didn't wanna think about that..
Will avoided hitting his head, and immediately sat up. “You alright, man?”
"no.." came the quiet reply.. "I didn't wanna come back here… "
“Rykah, where are we?” Will asked, putting his hand on the other boy’s shoulder.
"home…" said Rykah, wanting to cry
