he blocked the attack and swiftly moved to the left and ducked "a girl…wanting to be loved… wanted by someone. she'll do anything for him, as long as he keeps her heart safe. you've been hurt before, and is waiting for the right person to heal you. you kill for fun, a distraction…a pass time." he said as he dodged her attacks
"You honestly think so little of me–" She blocked an attack, wincing as pain slid up her arm. "–that you think I'm a heartbroken, romantic?!" Anger flared through her. She was not so simple and silly of a woman to be that way. Although, he wasn't wrong about someone hurting her before, but that was the past. The one who'd hurt her had made her who she was. One of the world's deadliest assassins.
Finally, Cleona unsheathed her sword and attacked him with renewed vigor. "I don't need someone to fix me, Raziel." She shoved him up against a wall, hard. "I'm perfectly fine." She hissed at him, their faces dangerously close.
"you don't seem fine Cleo, and I never said you were broken and needed fixing, I said you needed to heal. There's a difference" he whispered. "Now are you going to let me go? Or are we going to stay like this?"
"I'm being blocked."
"Someone else is hacking them…" Peggy murmured. "Break through their firewall and shut down their command."
"Achieved."
Peggy began to load the images. "Roll through the one right above the door here," she said.
Vixian went into an empty closet and changed into a room service outfit. She walked out and headed towards the kitchen. "I have an order of white wine for room 367." Vixian waited for the staff to get the drink prepared for her. Once she had the drink back in her hand she added a toxion of her own creation.
Peggy watched Cleona and Raziel leave and travel through the town. She sped off towards their hideout.
Vixian knocked on the door and a rough looking man answered. "What the hell do you want?" The man boomed. "I have your order sir." Vixian answered.
Cleona leaned the tiniest bit closer, staring into Raziel's eyes as her heart raced. "I'm fine." She lied carefully, it almost sounded like the truth now that she had said it so much over the past years. "I thought this was a fight, Raz. If you want me to move…then move me." She matched his gentle whisper, another shiver making its way up her spine. The invitation was there out in the open and as dangerous as the blades they both wielded.
He smiled angelically "you never were the best at lieing Cleo," he leaned closer "your heart's beating erratically and your taunting me, which you know not to do. Say what you want but you are anything but fine." He grasped her shoulder, spun her around. And held his word up to her throat. “You should have lept your word on killing me, i dont think i’ll be able to restrain my self around you next time we meet.” He pulled his sword away and left the room with Chara trotting behind him
The man took the drink from Vixian, threw money at her and gulped it down. "Have fun in hell!" Vixian whispered and walked away. She jumped into her car and drove back to her hotel.
Cleona huffed quietly, watching Raziel leave the room. Her entire form was tense and angry. How dare he? She swung her katana gracefully back into its sheath. "I'd like to see you try to kill me for real Raziel." She muttered to his retreating form. He was always waking away from her wasn't he? She sighed, releasing the tension from her shoulders. I should have kissed him when I had the chance. She frowned, shaking the thought from her head she stepped out of the room and onto the balcony, tilting her face towards the sun.
He reached his room, grabbed a black cloak "stay girly." he told Chara before closing the door behind him. Walking past the training room, he rounded a corner and walked outside. sheathing his swords he climbed the fire escape and sprinted across the rooftops. He plugged in headphones to his phone and turned on his music.

(YEEEEES! I love that song!!!!)
Peggy watched Raziel leave from her car.
"Would you like me to– Incoming call. Jack Malik. Accept//Decline."
"How…?" Peggy muttered.
"Hello, Peggy," a smooth voice cooed in her ear.
"SASHA, decline!" Peggy pleaded, working her controls in her car.
"You can't run from me, Peggy."
"Decline!" Peggy demanded SASHA.
"My procedures are being overridden."
"I'll find you," Jack continued, his tone edgy. "And when I do, you're going to pay for–"
"Disconnect," Peggy ordered.
Just as suddenly as he began talking, Jack was cut off.
She released a deep breath from her mouth and leaned back against the seat.
Cleona lingered on Raziel's balcony after he left, staring down into the city below. "Right rotten mess you've gotten yourself into this time, Cleo." She murmured to herself, playing with a piece of her long hair. Emotion was not her strong suit. She needed to drop Raziel and focus on her missions. He was an old friend, nothing more… She sighed. Just then her phone buzzed in her pocket. Looking at the caller ID, she sighed again.
"Rowan." She said softly.
"My Cleo…" His voice like a balm for every hurt. "Jameson tells me we have received proof that you have succeeded in your mission. Excellent work, my love." Cleona smiled, about to respond when he continued. "He also tells me that you have not returned to the airport yet. Why do you linger in Chicago? Come home, my pet."
Cleona's smile faltered. "I ran into an old friend, Master. I will be returning home soon."
There was silence on the other end and then.
"Very well. I await your presence."
Cleona stared at her phone after the line went dead. She owed Rowan her life. So as always, she would return to him.
He knocked on the window of the car "you alright?" Raziel asked Peggy. Looking around the vacant lot "so who was that?"
Peggy jumped, glad her mask was still up. "N-No one…"
"Liar," he glanced at her and smiled "got the same file too?"
"Yeah," she muttered, not meeting his eyes.
Vixian put her headset on and hit the button to call Peggy.
He nodded again and scanned the area "we're being watched, stay safe and don't do anything stupid." he said curtly before sprinting to the roof and climbing up, disappearing completely into the shadows
"What?" she whispered.
"Incoming call – VIxian."
"Of course," Peggy sighed. "Accept. Hello?"
"Hey Peggy, is now a bad time?" Vixian asked, hearing the annoyed tone in her sisters voice.
"Kinda," she admitted, her eyes were magnetized to where Raziel had gone.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I'll call you back later." Vixian said.
"No, it's… It's fine now. What did you want?" she asked.
"I was gonna ask if you had any freetime, like around 4 tomorrow? So we can go for coffee."
"Sure," Peggy replied, looking around the parking lot. "Sure, sure, yeah."
"Awesome, there's a cafe I passed earlier, I'll send you the address. See ya then!" Vixian replied.
