I..I think so… Grayson replied nervously, staring in awe down at his arms.
I..I think so… Grayson replied nervously, staring in awe down at his arms.
Then choose, Abaddon murmured, a slight growl in his voice. But now it was both their voices, both their thoughts, and they felt like one person. And Abaddon's meaning seemed clear now–fight or flight. But there was a feeling, a want to kill, an old anger that was bubbling up, and it was focused on the glowing figure in front of them
We have nowhere to go. Grayson thought, feeling the anger radiating towards the figure. Can we fight it?
We can kill it if we want. Like this we can kill anything. But it is doing its job. We hate it for doing its job, Abaddon murmured, eyes fixing on the creature
Of course we do. Let's kill it. Grayson answered quietly, looking up at the figure.
Lovely, Abaddon growled, but it was Grayson's mouth that was growling. They seemed to both be controlling Grayson's body as one mind, and the figure stepped back a bit before forming what appeared to be a javelin out of light.
"In the name of Ein, halt!" they exclaimed
Oh, by the way. I have no idea what I’m doing. Grayson added quietly.
Then let me help you, Abaddon murmured, chuckling softly as he held out a hand. The knives from before shot out at the figure, and they leapt back just before they were impaled
How powerful is this thing? He asked, eyes widening slightly.
It's an angel named Lokai. They are the god Ein's imperial general. Strong, but not so much that we can't kill them if we so wish. Or at least rid them of their shell, Abaddon murmured
So let’s kill him. Grayson replied, standing up while keeping his eyes on Lokai.
Lokai growled, lunging at them with the javelin, wings unfolding as they did so. The robotic feathers were near blinding, but Abaddon's power seemed to shield Grayson from it
Tell me what to do. Grayson said, a little nervous that he would mess something up.
Focus on it. Do you feel angry towards it? Do you want to kill it? Abaddon murmured, moving Grayson's body to avoid the attack
Yes. Of course I do. Grayson replied, smiling a bit.
Think of how you want to kill it. Imagine blades, bullets, flame. Ripping it apart, slicing it open, Abaddon hummed, watching as Lokai lunged after them again, teeth bared
And then what? Grayson did as he said, loathing Lokai for almost taking Abaddon away from him.
And then watch it happen, Abaddon murmured, his joy seemingly coming through to Grayson as he watched
So I just have to think about killing it and..it’ll happen? Grayson asked, chuckling at Abaddons happiness.
I'll take care of the technicalities, Abaddon assured him, enjoying Grayson's chuckle
Oh and what rules have you broken? Grayson asked, still smiling.
Literally all of them. Now hush and focus on killing, Abaddon tutted
Grayson huffed a little. I am focused on killing. He said, which was true, as he glared at Lokai.
Abaddon just chuckled, moving their body out of the way of another attack. He sent a flurry of blades down on Lokai, all but one being deflected. A single one impaled Lokai's wing, and gold blood began to seep from the wound
Grayson smiled at the sight and loved the idea of Lokai being hurt. Do you have to do this often? He asked Abaddon.
Not since I met you, Abaddon answered, flinging another volley of blades at Lokai before he could properly recover, resulting in two more small ones snagging his large wings
That's..good? Grayson laughed a little.
Abaddon chuckled with him, a blade of his own blocking an attack before retaliating, smacking Lokai away and sending them sprawling
Grayson let out a little yelp and rolled over onto his back so he could stand up again.
Abaddon giggled as he watched the two of them roll. This is fun, he hummed, watching Lokai lunge at them once again, nicking their arm. But Abaddon quickly healed it, the sting gone in a second
