“How long are we going to keep this up?” Lydia asked, still laughing.

"How long are you going to keep this up?"

“As long as I need to to win.” Lydia said, having stopped laughing and gone to just smiling.

"Do you need to win?"

“I may or may not have a compulsive need to win.”

"Do you?"

“Winning is the greatest joy in life.” Lydia said, winking to let Blair know it was a joke.

"Is it?"

Lydia rolled her eyes jokingly. “And I’m not even a child of Nike. Imagine how bad I’d be if I was.”

"Imagine that."

“Gods, you’re ridiculous.” Lydia laughed.

"You’re ridiculous.”

“I’ll win this.”

"Will you?"

“I promise I will.”

"Hm?"

Lydia raised her eyebrows. “Did you really not hear me, or are you ignoring me?”

"Either one."

“What does that even mean?” Lydia said incredulously, laughing.

"What does it mean?"

“Oh my gods. I don’t even know how to respond to you anymore.”

"Are you sure?"

“Wow. You honestly are the first person to ever render me speechless.”

"You should probably get that checked out."

Lydia laughed genuinely, “Probably.”

"Meh?"

Lydia decided to bring up a new topic. “Why don’t we head back to camp?”

“Why don’t you head back to camp?”

“I’m serious.”
