Violet flicks her head around, eyes wide. A sly grin barely crosses his face before he catches it and continues staring down at his coffee while stirring.
"Benjamin Stan." Violet quietly scolds.
"Who on Earth would do such a thing?"
He purses his lips, leaning against the counter behind him and taking a sip of his coffee.
"You do not have to be an elemental to know who they are. Some of us are just too… Obvious."
Violet shakes her head, exasperated, and goes to speak, but he continues.
"Our schedules stay the same. Over time they can piece things together. Who ever was helping Silver, even if there were many, it'd be easy over time to discover what they were about." He sips his coffee again.

Hush nods in agreement as Dash taps his foot quietly. "So who was helping you, Silver?"

Finn had listened in on the conversation carefully. The possibility of an elemental turning on the group is a real possibility. Finn couldn’t blame them if they where offered safety. Finn would have taken the offer if it wasn’t for the fact that those people would never actually, spare them.
Poppy had finished her pop tart. She tried to follow along with the conversation but got distracted by silvers wings.

(Does anyone mind if I name some of y'all's characters as some who helped her?)

Silver resumed eating, though her stomach was fairly churning at this point. If they were in trouble because of her… man, she should have just gone to live in the forest alone by now. "Ummm, I mean, almost everyone at some point or another? There was that guy… I forget his name. Adkins was his last name? He had fire, I think. But he kinda disappeared and I had to ask…" her voice trailed off. "Oh my goodness, I thought he just had to move on, somewhere else, but what if… what if he got caught too? And that's why he's gone?"

Violet takes a notebook from the counter and starts to write things down.
"Yes, Adkins went missing two months ago. Cage knew him."
(Cage seemed pretty chill about her, go ahead and say he's helped :P)

Or what if he was the one who ratted her out and they took him too? Dash thinks.
"Or what if he was the one who ratted her out and they took him too?" Hush voices.

Ben purses his lips in thought, staring at the lamp across the room.
Cage shakes his head.
"No way! I knew Jeremy. He was sweet!"
Ben raises an eyebrow at Cage and mutters, "Maybe to you." Before taking another drink.
Violet elbows Ben.
Stop.

Silver set her plate on a table, too ill to eat anymore. "I'm so sorry, guys. I didn't realize this was even happening, and it's my fault. I've always been the weakest link cuz I can't work or fit in and pretend to be normal. I'm so sorry." She buried her face in her hands, wings drawing close about her.

Violet sets the notebook down and gently sighs, furrowing her brow. She walks over to Silver and puts an arm around her.
"There, there. It's not your fault." She glares over at Ben for a moment.

He rolls his eyes.
"Jeremy was shady in the first place. He could've easily gotten by with this. Our investigations show he's definitely missing so whether he told on you or not, they have him." He takes another sip of coffee and quickly follows it up with a gulp.
Cage crosses his arms and stares at the ground in disbelief.

Silver accepted Violet's comfort, wiping her eyes and sniffing violently. "He's not the first one who's helped me that's gone missing. Cage was helping after Jeremy and then there was a girl, Mia; she found the shed I'm currently staying in. I didn't think about it until now but she hasn't made contact for a bit over a week and she used to be super regular. Made sure to check on me at least twice a week. They might have got her too." She looked up at them all. "Guys, I'm the weak link."

Dash looked up and smiled slightly. "No one's the weak link. Don't turn yourself into someone you're not, okay. If you hadn't been almost caught, we'd have no idea how these kids are disappearing or how to get them back."

Ben watches over his mug and rolls his eyes slightly. Yes, she seemed to be a weakling, but she shouldn't take all of the credit, going on about be the weak link.
Violet rubs Silvers arm.
"I'm sure we can figure out what's going on here."
Cage bites his lip.
"If they know about Silver and they're Elementals, don't you think they'd know about the meeting?"

Silver took a deep breath, getting her emotions under control. With another sniff she sat up and grabbed her plate again. "I don't think anyone followed me to the Cafe. But they don't seem to be in a hurry either. They're good at watching and observing for a long while before moving in. Because if they keep nabbing up my friends…" she paused her eating again. "If they keep grabbing the people who help me, they have to know about me, don't they?"

Ben nods, still being quiet and leaning against the counter with his third cup of coffee for the night.
Cage looks up to Violet. "Do you think they'll find us here?"
She opens her mouth to respond, but Ben starts, "No, Cage. The thing we need to figure out know is where we're going in the morning and what we're going to do about this. We've obviously let it set too long without messing around. And we can't just keep hiding like animals."
Violet nods, closing her mouth and still rubbing Silvers arm.

Hush stands up restlessly. "We need to get some sleep, and I think we should set a trap. Using Silver, if she's willing…" She crosses her arms behind her back and yawns.

Silver perked up. "How could I be a trap?" The idea made her blood rush and she couldn't help grinning, even though she didn't even know what Hush had in mind. "I would love to be a trap."

(oh dear you got her attention now XD)

Hush shrugged. "Simple. Pretend to walk down an abondoned alleway looking innocent and helpless while we hide on the rooftops or another place nearby and wait for them to try to grab you. Then we'll get out of there once we know who it is, or if we can, grab him instead."

Silver's eyes flashed with excitement and mischief. "Ohhh that would be great. I'm the most obvious one to see, and I can probably get away the easiest too." she fairly bounced in her seat. "I like it."

Ben rolls his eyes, yet again.
"That's stupid. It's too predictable. If we tried something like that, we'd be the ones getting caught."

Hush snorts. "Silver was walking down the street looking innocent and helpless when they tried to grab her. Why wouldn't they try again?"
Dash looks uneasy, but says nothing.

"Well, they know we have powers." Silver said. "So if anything happened none of us would need to hold back. I think we'd be a pretty powerful force to be reckoned with if we let loose."

Ben shakes his head halfheartedly. He turns and rinses out his coffee cup while mumbling very quietly in Russian.
Cage smiles.
"I think it'll work!"
Violet bites the inside of her lip before smiling and nodding slightly.
"It does sound promising, but I do think Ben has a point. It does sound a bit predictable. And they just chased you Silver, right? Can you explain what happened?"

"Guuuuuuuys" Silver groaned. "I've already told you like three times. They followed me, I saw them, they tried to catch me, I flew away. But we don't need to set this trap tonight. That would be plain stupid. We need to rest up and set a watch and let it pass for a day or two. Then we should move anyway, because who knows if they followed us or already knew where Violet lives. When we move, we can set the trap because they'll definitely be following."

Dash nods. "I don't want to stay here long either…If they knew about Silver, they'll find out about Violet soon if they haven't already."
